Dr. Matthew Eric Adess

Dr. Adess treated me for colon cancer. He was always attentive, responsive and supportive and very realistic and informative. I would recommend him highly.

Dr Adess has been my Dr for almost 3 years. He has been by my side every step of the way. He is the reason why I am still alive today. He takes the time to listen as well as give advice. I am lucky to have him as my Dr.

We've been seeing Dr. Adess & his team for 2 1/2 years. He has a wealth of knowledge, an amazing comforting presence, and the ability to listen and explain things. The internet is the epitome of a rabbit hole. There is so much information, partial information and mis-information out there, it is easy for a patient or their loved ones to get lost. As we received the initial diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Adess was very approving of our desire to question things and look for a second opinion. He made certain all records were forwarded promptly to facilitate that second opinion. We have nothing but trust and respect for the doctor and thankful for his guidance during a challenging time. Great Bedside Manner but... Not sure he is on top of my care. Doesn't follow thru, didn't visit me in hospital or call. I don't feel he is upfront with patient expectation of treatment. Dr. Adess follows protocol but didn't seem to think outside of the box.

Please don't trust this doctor. He looked like really nice, but he didn't listen to me when I told him about the health issues for my husband. The chemo he recommended killed my husband. He didn't listen to me, he just did the business to get the money for the chemo, and he hasn't even tried to check my husband's issues, weakness, to make a break for the chemo... I lost the only beloved man in my life. This is terrible intolerable mourning... Please don't trust this doctor. Dr. Adess was very thorough and helped answer my concerns that I had. He was very quick at responding to my email messages. He was there to answer any question I had and encouraged me to ask questions. I would definitely recommend him!

He takes his time with you and answers your questions so you can understand them. He talks to you like a friend and not down to you. He is very compassionate about your health and wants to help you in anyway. Don't believe everything he tells you and don't believe the other reviews you read. He will make promises that he won't live up to. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
