Masoud Azodi

One of the kindest, most gentle humans I have ever met. I feel blessed having been in his hands during a terrifying time. His bedside manner was flawless and I never once felt rushed. His entire staff was top notch from front office to surgical team. Highly recommend.

Dr. Azodi is the BEST gynecologic surgeon I have ever met. I am an RN and had to have surgery for endometrial cancer. He was very kind, reassuring and has a wonderful bedside manner. Lovely man. Fortunately it was caught very early and non invasive and he was able to do a hysterectomy and no further treatment necessary. I can't recommend him highly enough!! Dr. Azodi is an excellent doctor and showed much compassion, when I needed to a hysterectomy to remove an ovarian cyst to rule out ovarian cancer, which thankfully I did not have. He sensed how nervous I was and held my hand while the anesthesia kicked in, which no other doctor has ever done before. He was proactive and kind.

Great surgeon. Caring.

Dr. Azodi performed my total hysterectomy in May 2107. At 6 week check I complained of stomach pain and blood in my urine. Was told this was normal. Went back three more times with same complaint and no urine cultures done.. I felt awful with stomach pain. My PCP ordered a CAT Scan in Dec 2017 which showed three large kidney stones. Had Dr. Azodi taken my complaints seiously and done a urine culture seeing the blood, I would not have had to undergo 5 procedures for the stones.

I went to Dr Azodi at the Yale Smilow Cancer Center. I needed surgery to take out a cyst on my ovary. I could not have been happier with him and the staff! He was caring, knowledgeable, impressive and, personable, Ann Mare was my nurse and I can't say enough about how well she took care of me. The surgical team and all of the Hospital staff was also wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr Azodi. I was in very good hands!

When I was terrified about the growth on my ovary, Dr. Azodi was a calm and reassuring voice. I immediately felt, even though specialists aren't known for their bedside manner, as though everything was going to be Ok. His surgical skills were so amazing that when I went to my internist for a visit after a complete hysterectomy, he said "where are the scars?" Dr. Azodi was very rude and condescending throughout my entire appointment. He made countless passive aggressive comments because I declined an unnecessary exam which he himself even said was pointless because I had recently had surgery. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Possibly the WORST physician experience of my 27 years on this earth. My second (and last visit) I was put in a room for over an hour. I finally got dressed because I got fed up waiting. When I came out of the room the staff asked where I had come from. I pointed to the exam room. Well, the had forgotten I was there. Additionally I am now being billed for procedures I did NOT have done in this office. If I could take back ever going here I would.

I was not impressed by this doctor. The staff is very short and rude and he was disinterested in talking with me. He is more clown like then professional. I won't be going back.

He is very kind and caring. Always listens to and answers all my questions and concerns, as well as those of my family. He never makes me feel rushed. He is a very skilled surgeon and has taken excellent care of me all through an extremely difficult illness.

Dr. Azodi is exceptionally rough while executing pelvic exams. He also does not listen to the concerns of the patient. I changed providers to someone who actually listens.
