Mary Jo Zimmer

My children have been seeing Dr. Zimmer since infancy / toddlers. I find her to be very thorough, warm, responsive and a good communicator. Her nurse is also excellent.

I've been forced to go to her because that's who my mother had chosen for my pediatrician but now that I'm of age I'm most definitely seeking another doctor. She gave me two Pap smears and each time she stuck the probe in the wrong place (pee hole). And prior to the test she told me she didn't want to do it because "you teenagers worry about every little thing" if I'm getting doctor bills and she's getting a check she should examine whatever I ask or refer me to someone who can preform correctly. I told her I've been having issues with my throat and swallowing she took a culture and it did not show evidence of streptococcus and she seen irritation in my throat. However she isn't specialized in ear, nose, and throat and never referred me to go to them for my issues. She's useless and doesn't do her job! She is really good with my kids. She has late hours which I Love (work schedule). She also very nice!
