Mary Kathryn Whitten

Dr Whitten has been my doctor for over 10 years -- she is excellent at what she does (she has delivered our two youngest children). She is caring, very knowledgeable and sincere with her patients. I feel lucky to have her as my doctor.

She is kind however she is not transparent about billing. My experience with her was pleasant in person but once I arrived home after the last visit I realized she didn’t throughly examine me and charged me for a problem she knew she had not rectified. Dr. Whitten also places your concerns in your medical file as if they are diagnosed.

Dr. Whitten is one of the most caring, knowledgeable, amazing doctors I’ve ever seen. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable and provide all the knowledge a patient needs. She is thorough and I always feel I am receiving the top level of care. The Charlotte area is lucky to have her here!!!

As a doctor i really like her. She is a fine doctor, she diagnosed my high blood pressure. But it was impossible to get a phone call returned or get a message at all. I played telephone tag with them for two weeks. I finally went to the office and just said "why are you calling me". They were recommending an over the counter skin cream for a rash. You couldnt leave a message, or write a letter. No, they had to scare the hell out of me. Now they dont take my insurance so i had to move to a different practice.

She is the most caring physician I have met in a long while When I needed her empathy she offered it without condescension and with knwolegeable direction by recommending the care of a specialist. My many thanks to her.
