Had cataract surgery; never saw the doctor before or after the surgery - only spoke with students in training. Saw her for first time on morning of surgery; I'm assuming she did the surgery - maybe students did that, too. Worst medical experience I've ever had. First thing I said when my current optometrist suggested getting the other eye done: absolutely not Schanzer!!!! I know she does good works overseas, I guess, because her waiting room is plastered with self-congratulatory propaganda.

Dr. Schanzer thank you so much for helping my brother Javi Vanegas get his eye sight back on his left eye , surgery was performed on 05/26/2017 and is doing so well . its a blessing to have met you and your husband you have changed my bothers life cant wait to do the right eye. Rosie Garcia sister

Southern Eye was a horrible experience, is you do not match the assembly line approach to surgery you are promptly dismissed without explanation. Don't walk away from this place, run!

Run thru like a herd of cattle. Too many "off the street trained techs" don't know what they are doing. Should wear name tags. Money making operation. A doctor needs to know more about your history. When don't even see you before surgery they are going on someone else's evaluation. Bad experience.
