Dr. Murphy has been my PCP for about 17 years and I would not consider changing to a different doctor. She knows everything about me and keeps me current with all inoculations, etc. She takes as much time with me as my situation warrants, and I never feel like I am being rushed. She is an excellent doctor, but she is not a "warm and fuzzy" type of person.

You can't get better than this doctor in these parts. She's an infectious disease dr. but her specialization is treating patients with HIV and she is so very knowledgeable when it comes to HIV meds as well as the new meds that are coming out. If you are HIV and can get an appointment with this doctor, count yourself very fortunate. She is the best.
Dr Murphy's specialty is HIV treatment. And she is on top of her game when it comes to HIV treatment and meds . She is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. There is a rather long wait during office visits but that is because she spends quality time with her patients addressing their needs and concerns, in a professional yet amiable manner. If you are a patient with HIV and you are fortunate enough to get an appointment with this doctor, you will receive the best of care.

She's one of the best Dr.s in louisiana, she cares about her penitents. by taking time with her patients, ask questions and let her patients ask. She want you to ask so she can help you take better care of your self Dr.murphy is Awesome

This doctor definitely needs to retire. From the moment she greeted me, she had an attitude. She seemed like she did NOT want to be there. Not only did she display poor bedside manner, she seemed irritated when I asked her questions. I will definitely not see her again and recommend all of my friends to seek treatment elsewhere.
