Mary F Anderson

Dr. Anderson is one of the most absolutely empathetic, educated doctors I have ever encountered in my life. Her intelligence never fails to fascinate me about how the brain works, how different medications work for mental health but the actual neuroscience knowledge behind it. I may have a completely opposite degree of music studies and profession yet I can connect with her in intellectual conversations, personal theories about life and therapy practices, science; you name it. I may not be a neuroscience expert but yet she always explains it in NOT a simplistic "dumbed down" way but with an educational approach, like a student learning a new instrument or how to first understand the quadratic formula. I will come in with 20 questions and she'll answer all of them with patience, interest and in a way I completely understand. I will never forget her for how she has shaped my recovery. If I could forever have her as a PCP, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you, Dr. Anderson.. for everything.
