Dr Ambach is thorough, patient, upbeat, and a great doctor. I am so thankful that I found her. I had never heard of PRP, but it has helped me tremendously.

Dr. Ambach has treated me for several different issues, knee, shoulder, wrist etc. I trust her implicitly & have recommended SDOMG to many. They can help you get back living your active lifestyle.

I have had patellar tendon pain for 2 years. I went through professional athlete physical therapy and conditioning and never got pain free. 6 weeks after PRP 2 of the three small tears were pain free and healing. And now at 3 months I can move pain free. I would recommend PRP with SD orthobiologics.

Dr. Ambach and her staff are phenomenal. Personable, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely caring. I’ve had four surgeries on my knees during my 27 year career in the U.S. Marine Corps but this was the best experience of all my medical procedures. The genuine care that Dr. Ambach exhibited was unprecedented and refreshing. She talked me through every step of the stem cell process and addressed every question with considerable detail. The staff made me feel like I was a family member and not just another “assembly line” patient. If I could have Dr. Ambach be my personal physician in all things, my health would be better for it. It’s very rare that I look forward to my next visit regarding anything remotely related to healthcare but this experience was an absolute delight. Regarding the stem cell procedure, it’s too early to tell, but i have the utmost faith in Dr. Ambach and her staff. I felt at ease and comforted and “walked away” from this process with a promising future for my knees and the level of physical activity that I hope to regain. I received two PRP treatments on my shoulder and it restored function to about 90%, and it's still healing and getting better. My primary doc told me surgery was my only option...WRONG. Dr. Ambach was very thorough and professional and treated my meniscal tear with PRP. I was very impressed with her approach and the procedure was explained clearly and concisely. I had a great experience with my platelet-rich plasma injection for my foot which I just had at the SDOMG office. Doctor Ambach and SDOMG staff (i.e. the wonderful nurses who were assisting her) have a very high level of expertise and are very knowledgeable, professional, and caring for their patients. I went in for epidural because if a buldging disc at L1. Dr Ambach was great, very gentle and exlpained what she was doing. The entire staff is so caring and made you feel comfortable and as relaxed as you can be. They are all awesome angels on earth.

I saw Dr Ambach for left hip pain and she did a thorough exam with ultrasound and my MRI, and then did PRP. Not only was she thorough, but very kind and understanding. Since the PRP I feel like I have a new hip thanks to her! I cannot say enough good things about her and her office!

I had PRP injections on my ankle and wrist to day with Dr. Ambach. The injections were much less painful then previous injections at another clinic. Dr. Ambach and her staff were very nice and helpful despite my nerves.

Approximately two months ago I was referred to San Diego Orthobiologics, Dr. Mary Amback. I had severe pain in my neck, which was caused by bulging discs Dr. Amback and staff were very professional upon me contacting them. They were quick to make sure I had an appointment, they were quick to diagnose and confirm my issue and more importantly moved swiftly for the appropriate treatment. I had a injury that couldn’t be diagnosed for 15 years until Dr Rodgers found it and was able to treat with PRP and have been pain free from that injury ever since. Dr. Ambach is very knowledgeable about regenerative medicine and all the injection therapies. She is very concerned with her patients’ well-being and looks for solutions that will work for each patient. She has helped my lumbar pain tremendously with PRP in both the epidural space and facet joints. She’s awesome.

Dr. Ambach and her staff over the past year have provide excellent care for my spinal stenosis treatments. They are first concerned with ME. They take the time and effort to understand ME and my health issues. We discuss what options I have, how to proceed with care and if what I see as the problem and the outcome that I am looking for is reasonable. I have fully and unlimited confidence in Dr. Ambach's care of my medical issues. Thank you.

Very positive all around

I was having problems with my knees even going to the grocery store. I had to lean on a shopping cart. I live on the beach and couldn't walk very far on the beach without knees hurting. I had both stem cell and PRP treatments in both knees. I became pain free in 9 weeks! Minor flareups every once in a while for example when I carried four bags of heavy grocery bags upstairs. A little Alleve for 3 or 4 days and all good. Oh, I used to have problems going up and downstairs. No more. As I healed my knees became stronger and more flexible. For example, lowering myself to the floor and getting back up. Much better now. I am very thankful this treatment option was available. I did not want knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Mary Ambach can manipulate the needle beyond words. She is very conscientious and caring of her patients needs.

I highly recommend Dr, Ambach, her staff and the PRP procedure. I had been in a car accident back in 2012, had a surgery on my shoulder and physical therapy, but things never really improved. I spent years dealing with chronic pain and flair ups. My son had heard about PRP and suggested I look into after being concerned about my chronic pain. I am soooo glad I did. The PRP with Dr Ambach and then my work with Megan at Evolve Physical Therapy has been life changing. I have full range of motion now and am pain free. Thank you to Dr. Ambach and Megan!!!

My experience was amazing! The staff did everything they could to keep me comfortable during the procedure. Dr. Ambach explained everything as she performed the procedure. The follow up by Dr. Ambach and her staff was very thorough. I would definitely recommend this. I have already noticed good results in the first 6 weeks.

I was a patient of hers when she practiced in LA. She’s the best ortho doctor I’ve ever been to and I’m so sad she relocated. I haven’t found anyone comparable with her perception and expertise . She has a natural intelligence of how to treat an individual’s specific body and conditions and makes sure that whatever she does is tailored specifically for you.

I find Dr. Mary to be very attentive and caring as well as very competent and knowledgeable. She is the best kind of doctor with a great "bedside manner". She partners with you to find solutions that other doctors may kind of brush off as just aging related. I trust her implicitly.

A few months later, Dr. Ambach moved to Carlsbad and I followed. At this time we discussed PRP, which would hopefully heal my tears faster. I was about to chicken out, and after 45 minutes of talking and discussing my situation we went with the PRP. I knew there was no other doctor I would trust as much as Dr. Ambach. I never felt any pain during the injections, and agin Dr. Ambach talked me through everything she was doing. Dr. Ambach was very good in answering all of my questions and seemed totally knowledgeable about the possible causes of my discomfort.

Dr. Ambach is wonderful human being and truly cares about her patients. Unlike other doctors, she's not in this profession for the money. My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner. If you are "thinking" of getting better, STOP IT!! You don't have to live in pain. Just pick up the phone and make an appointment. You will not regret it.

Takes the time to listen to my problems, figure out a plan of action, and helps me successfully carryout said plan. Even after everything is addressed during my appointments Dr. Ambach makes sure all of my concerns were covered. Very comforting during injections (performed at least 10 on me) and always makes sure you are not experiencing too much discomfort. Could not be more satisfied.
