Dr. Marvin Hubert Sineath JR.

I was the first patient of Memorial’s sports medicine clinic. Here is my take on it. Dr Sineath is very nice, but between him and the students he is too busy. I had my shoulder misdiaged by him(shoulder impingement when it was a near complete high grade subscapularis tear). They knew about the mechanical problems from my meniscus tears suggested PRP would fix me right up as if it was a magic. Got the shot which was out of pocket. Didn’t work then they told me “oh with the popping it wasn’t going to work” They can’t even test for vo2 max here which if you are an athlete you know what that is. His practice is just a primary care practice filled with students. Oh the cortisone shot they gave me. I warned them of my sensitivity to it. Convinced me it was the only way to get the swelling down in my shoulder. Since that day my shoulder has been worse than ever. They promised me a refund 4 months ago.... never got it. Sorry, not sorry

The staff here is alway great. My wait time from walking in the door to being seen was less than 1 hour. I met six wonderful caregivers who were kind and gentle to my concerns. Thank you Dr. Sineath, Dr. Hickey, Mercer Med. students, Cheyenne and Kjessica for being professional and caring.
