This place is amazing, but I personally think they should add more choices with glasses

Waited almost 3 months to get an appointment only to get there and be told they were sorry but they don’t take my insurance. Person knew when I made the appointment the insurance I have. Very infuriating!!! Of course the person at the desk denied it was her and pawned the blame off on someone that wasn’t there. No offer to help in any way except for me to pay for visit in full!!! Very, very disappointing. Very unprofessional office staff. Never saw the doctor so cannot comment on his ability. Perhaps some training for front staff. Very thorough eye exam and friendly staff.

Dr. McMeekin and his whole staff are fantastic.

Family has used him for years. Great with kids and adults. Very patient and spends the time to thoroughly explaining things. I highly recommend.

I spent the weekend with Dr. McMeekin learning about the myopia epidemic. He is very sharp and cares about his patients. I would recommend him highly and would not hesitate to send my kids to his office!

Hasn't been the same since Dr. Baldwin sold the practice!! Service is not what it used to be and Frankie has been down right rude on more than one occassion. Their hours are such that it makes it very hard for working folk to come pick up glasses. After 30 years.....I think it is time to find a new place to care for me and my daughter. Dr. McMeekin is the only optometrist that I will ever see. I had not been to see him in quite some time, and I had been unable to secure an appointment due to an impossible schedule and my inability to get off work. I was running behind, and Dr. McMeekin graciously allowed me to still be seen. Although it was near closing time, he had his team stay after and do my comprehensive examination. Although I was now on his personal family time, he did not rush me and addressed every concern I had. When we were finished, everyone had headed home, and he stayed and personally helped pick my glasses since my wife was unable to decide for me. He personally took the time to explain all the options and styles, and he took the time to fit me. Wow. Talk about full service. He makes you feel like family, and that is the highest compliment I can bestow. If anyone wishes a personal recommendation, I can offer one no greater than him Thanks Doc! Very professional. Answered all my concerns. Very helpful in selecting frames and stayed within my ins guidelines.

Excellent patient care, professional eye exam, wide selection of the most attractive frames, prompt service, friendly staff... Dr. McMeekin is very careful to explain procedures and answer any and all questions I have with patience and genuine concern. I recommend this facility to anyone wanting complete care.

Eastside Eyecare is a very dedicated and caring practice. I always leave understanding the procedures, diagnosis and care plan outlined for me :) Dr. McMeekin is very patient and considerate and his staff is exceptional.

I visited Eastside Eye Care. I can't complain about the service I received. It was just like any other time I've had my eyes checked. My problem is the billing. I've gone to Dr McMeekins for several years and never been billed a fitting fee ($105.00) for my contacts. I've worn the same contacts for several years and very few or no changes in the strength and no changes in the fit but all the sudden I get billed a fitting fee. I didn't receive a receipt when I left the office so I called back to see what made up the amount I was billed and surprise. The lady said oh now he charges a fitting fee. You must have been one of his patients from Walmart. I said yes, she said oh he didn't charge that there but he does now since in his own office. I guess for what I get maybe I am looking for cheap and I'm going back to Walmart next time. I was just as happy there and had $105.00 more in my pocket. I visited Eastside Eye Care.
