Dr. Bergsneider is an incredible neurosurgeon with many years of experience in microsurgery. As a professor at UCLA, he is on top of his field with new innovative methods to improve the success rate of surgery and quick recovery. I have studied many published journals before my surgery and found that not only has Dr. Bergsnider taken great care of my health, but he has always had the time to go over my specific situation from a scientific presentive during pre and post-op. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with an outstanding quality of medical care. I appreciate the team at UCLA, and I highly recommend becoming his patient!

He saved my life and has successfully performed 4 brain surgeries on me in the past almost 18 years. I trust him, his team, and his abilities completely. He also has excellent bedside manner, displays empathy, and is a good listener. I wouldn't be here typing this today if it weren't for him. I highly recommend him.

Dr Bergsneider and his team, including Dr Wang, are excellent. My surgery was a big success and I trusted the doctor and UCLA. Dr Bergsneider is very busy, but spends time with his patients to explain all that is asked.

I have only had one visit with Dr. Bergsneider so far and his knowledge and willingness to answer my questions and clear my confusion was amazing. He understood how much pain I was in and gave me some tips on was to manage because drugs and pain pills don’t help until something can be done.

Dr. Bergsneider and the entire team at UCLA has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They are well organized and leave nothing to chance. What I really appreciated was the time Dr. Bergsneider took to show on my MRI the exact situation and how his would be handled. It was good but some confusion in MRI which was not comprehensible but Dr try to answer every question satisfactorily.He is a good doctor.

First impression are very important, I felt that Dr. Bergsneider was an expert in his field . He explained the problem and what procedures would take place, this was demonstrated with the visual CT.

My husband had pituitary surgery and was schedule for 7 am surgery. Dr Bergsnider was late for 2.5 hours without any explanation.to us. Did not come in to greed us either before surgery. Then, after the surgery , he told me that my husband had brain fluids leak. Ok, one complication. But, the worse part was we stayed at hospital for 3 days 2 nights, he did not even bother to show up once to check on his one patient. Especially if he knew my husband had CSF leak. I am sorry, you not only teaching the young doctor to be good at their skills, but also the heart to be a good doctor that show caring. I couldn't be more impressed with Dr. Bergsneider. My wife had a Rathke's Cyst. He was very personable and caring. He listened to our concerns carefully. He showed us exactly what would happen during the surgery, etc. One time he was late to an appointment due to his participation in an emergency surgery due to a motorcycle accident. Really great experience with Dr. Bergsneider . He Performed a relatively minor surgery for me , but every doctor I’ve seen since has commented on how great the stitches were / how he took the time to do it nicely. Little things count! Dr. Bergsneider is wonderful and friendly. He was my neurosurgeon for my surgery and I love how he explained everything for me to understand and the staff he has checked on me when I went home.

Was seen on September 3rd, had surgery on the 9th. Felt like it was extremely fast. But didn't have a lot of options. Had to be done. He showed me my scans and explained why I had to have surgery. Glad it is over with and on the road to healing. Felt comfortable and honestly glad I didn't have a lot of time to dwell on it.

Excellent neurosurgeon with amazing and extraordinary skills.

Dr. Bergsneider removed my pituitary tumor. I had my surgery Monday and I was released by Tuesday afternoon. He's one of the best neurosurgeon I know. He explained to me about the procedure, and he put me at ease before the surgery. His team, staff, and nurses took good care of me before and after my surgery.

He was extremely rude and would not treat me or even refer me for better treatment. He was a total jerk!
