poor, rude bedside manner, comes in room ask how you are feeling, then starts backing out, doesn't take time to really talk to patient or family. This experience came during time of the COVID19 which I had hoped he would have been more considerate of both patient and family. My mother was in her 80's and because she was so sick with pneumonia (not COVID, tested negative 3x's) I asked about rehab for physical therapy to help regain her strength and he said it wasn't necessary. The next day a different hospitalist came on duty and said I think we need to consider rehab, this doctor also took the time to call me and talk over the phone. Said we have to get stuck with such inconsideration from some doctors.
