Feel very comfortable taking our son to them. My personal experience with the office staff has been pleasant even with I’ve had insurance issues that just were not getting resolved, they were patient. Dr Nelson has been amazing and really nurturing.

I would give the staff, Dr. Chavda and Nurse Karen 5 stars and Dr. Nelson 2 stars. Her attitude sucks! My husband and I didn’t feel welcome in her office. She had a bad attitude one night in February 2020 when I called the office late at night because my 6 month old had a fever and he was very sick. I was a first time mom and I didn’t know what to do. I was scared. Dr. Nelson basically told me I shouldn’t be calling her so late. I hung up the phone and the next day I found my son another pediatrician. My family and I would NEVER step foot in her office ever again and I would NEVER recommend her to anyone! I would give the staff, Dr. Chavda and Nurse Karen 5 stars and Dr. Nelson 2 stars. Everyone has been great at this office. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is very welcoming and they are great with my son. I feel very comfortable as a first time mom with Dr. Nelson as our pediatrician. Thank you everyone for being so kind.
Dr. Nelson was recommended to me by a co-worker, and I am so glad I got the recommendation. Dr. Nelson is amazing. She knows her patients VERY WELL, and I have NEVER had to wait for her to say, "wait, let me check his file" because she always remembers everything my son went through, even when I've had to make an after-hours call. She is very thorough with what may happen, what symptoms to look for, and what is fine versus what to make an appointment or go to the ER for. She always follows up when my son is sick, and the staff is amazing too!
The receptionist was rude, condescending, and talked to me like I was stupid. Get better staff if you really care about your patients!

Dr. Nelson has been all 3 of our kids Pediatrician since day one of each of their lives. They are now 18, 20, and 21 & 1/2. I cannot imagine going through everything we did with them without Dr. Nelson. She is absolutely the best general practitioner you could ever be lucky to have. She is caring, observant (she spotted certain issues before anyone else) and being a great doctor always referred us to great specialists when necessary. Years of off hours calls were always returned quickly and addressed all our concerns. Her support staff, both medical and administrative are always upbeat, positive and friendly, no doubt due to the wonderful practice she has built over the years. Dr. Nelson is the absolute best pediatrician! She's incredibly patient, nurturing and a great listener. She has taken such good care of our daughter and continues to do so. She is amazing and I could not have asked for better. Thanks for everything Dr. Nelson!
Dr. Nelson is seriously the best. I had my daughter about 2 months ago, and any time I called with an issue - she made sure to call me back and check in on her the next day. Even at the hospital she was so friendly and knowledgeable! Doesn't make you feel like she's just rushing from room to room, patient to patient. Dr Nelson has been our pediatrician for over 16 years. She is always caring and helpful, and always listens to our concerns. She will call back personally if I call the office with a question. Scheduling an appointment is usually very easy. The rest of the team is exceptional as well. After all this time they feel like family.
Dr. Martene and Dr. chavda are wonderful and caring doctors they have been with us since my kids were born. However, like some have mentioned the receptionists can be very rude. Especially Lori. I’ve had many bad interactions with her. She just called now to scold me regarding not making a copy of my sons shot record. I was rushing to get in all his forms for kindergarten. I honestly forgot and she went off saying now we have to recreate one and we are going to email to you so you have a copy because you will call us at 5pm on a Friday and want this form and we need 24hours to send to you. Dr. Nelson is the best! She has our complete trust in any advice she gives us concerning our children! Their follow up after visits is excellent! We are extremely happy to have found her and her practice.
I wish there was an option for ten stars because that’s what I would rate the wonderful team at Dr Nelson& Chavda’s Pediatrics! I myself was a patient of Dr. Nelson my entire life- I received the most incredible care and compassion every appointment I can remember. When I had children of my own, it only made sense to take them to Dr. Nelson too! My kiddos love Dr Nelson& Chavda and we are always treated like family. Lori the receptionist is always so great at accommodating last minute appointments when the unexpected pops up! Dr. Nelson is the best pediatrician. I am fortunate enough to have been one of her patients when I was young and now take my children to see her. Nurse Karen, the receptionist Lori, and Dr. Nelson are supportive and caring. They make me feel comfortable calling when I have concerns, treat my children with care and are friendly. I never write reviews but saw the negative reviews and I had to come here to support Dr. Nelson and her staff. They reach out to follow up after each sick visit, which I’ve never had another doctor call every time to follow up. You will receive the absolute best care with Dr. Nelson and her staff. I went to Dr. Nelson for 23 years. She is beyond amazing. Her staff, and all the nurses, are just as wonderful. Scheduling is easy; she always gets you in right away. Very caring and compassionate. I can’t say enough good things about her!
