Martin B Richman

Doctor Richman was a patient listener the first visit. He later performed a HOLEP procedure on me and the results were very good. I only get up once a night instead of four. I am no longer constantly worried about where a bathroom is when I go someplace.

Dr. Richman is a thorough professional competent kind caring doctor. He did a thorough work up and he’s doing comprehensive treatment.

Dr. Richman, in a word, is AWESOME!!! He is a very intelligent, skilled doctor, that instills confidence in his patients. I had a significant urological issue after knee replacement surgery (go figure) and he quickly diagnosed and successfully treated my problem. I never felt rushed, he always answered my questions completely, and calmed any fears I had. Also, he has a top-notch staff, Sam (Nurse Practitioner) and Krista(?) his medical assistant. I've referred several members of my church to Dr. Richman and they all are concur that he is a excellent doctor. So happy that I was treated by Dr. Richman - he's the best!

Dr. Martin Richman is awesome - 5-star doctor, for sure!!! He is intelligent , experienced, very professional, and an extremely skilled doctor. I was referred to him by members of my church - great referral - and I have since referred friends and acquaintances that all feel the same way I do. He makes you comfortable and confident in his treatment. Plus his staff, Sam (nurse practitioner), and Krista (medical assistant) are, in a word, awesome. Very professional, and skilled in their functions, plus just really nice people that also make you comfortable and confident. Love Dr. Richman and his staff, an excellent doctor. My scheduled visit was 10/29/20. I came early with my paperwork completed online. I was recovering from a knee replacement and had a catheter for the past 7 weeks. Very weak and was using a walker. I am also scheduled for back surgery in January, and cannot stand or walk more than 5- 10 minutes. The receptionist told my wife she could not accompany me to see the doctor - unless I needed an interpreter, or was mentally incompetent, no and if or buts. The receptionist and by this time another staff member were very aggressively telling her no, and demanding I come stand at the window and answer questions (I was sitting in a chair 6 feet from her). I told her my back was hurting and due to medicine I was taking I needed my wife to make hear the doctor's diagnosis. She said that this was policy and that staff makes the call, which was still no. I've been in the emergency room 3 times this year and have seen dozens of doctors in the recent past. I have never been treated with such

I made the decision on the spot - that if the staff treats patients this way I don't want to be part of this and walked out. Subsequently, I was accepted, at the Mayo Clinic, for the same procedure. Boy, what a difference in staff interaction and professionalism.

Every visit is the same he is always consistent with his through exams and caring for his patients. I have been his patient since 2010. He not only operated on me successfully for Prostate Cancer but his compassion is endless. Tire or not he always treats you with respect and a smile. (Even when he has had a difficult day just keeps on being their for his patients. Thank you Dr. Klein for all your knowledge,professionalism and not leaving your less fortunate patients behind. Your heart is what helps us cancer patients get through each day.

Dr. Richman is probably the worst doctor I have ever seen. He cares NOTHING about his patients. In fact he seems to have hostility and animosity toward his patients. He did things to purposely hurt me. When it comes to medical care Dr. Richman goes through the motions but it is obvious that he couldn't care less whether the treatment helps or not. When you go in for a visit Dr. Richman rushes in to see you, talks as fast as he can, does as little as possible, and wants to rush out as fast as possible to get to the next patient. If you hold him up with questions he gets real annoyed. He does not want to answer questions; he does not want to talk with you; he just wants to get in as many patients as possible during the day in order to make as much money as possible.

Dr. Richman is my Urologist, and performed a vasectomy last year (2018), which went very smooth. Excellent doctor, and would recommend to anyone searching for a Urologist.

This practice employs the most uncaring people I've ever seen. Calls to the Dr. are NEVER returned. Other doctor specialists cannot even get through to these people. Whatever this practice is dispensing, it cannot remotely be called care. Something is very wrong with this practice.

I had a huge hydrocele on my left side of scrotum and Dr. Richman did an amazing job repairing it!! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Richman. He epitomizes what a doctor and surgeon should be. The surgery was flawless and my recovery was quick and I was back on my feet in a few days. I would equally endorse Mease Countryside Hospital where the surgery was performed. They were very careful about preventing infection and all the staff were caring, kind and professional.

By far the best Urology group in the area. Dr Richman was compassionate and took time to explain the details of the procedure, even while the procedure was ongoing. Very thorough and kind. Would recommend his services to anyone who needs a urologist!

He is an excellent doctor/surgeon. He is very caring. Gives you full explanation of your condition and or procedure. Willing to listen to your concerns and questions. I would highly recommend him. My husband and I are both his patients. Additionally, we have recommended various friends to Dr. Richman and they are very pleased as well.

I have had kidney stone problems and each time Dr. Richman has been there for all procedures. I never would go to anyone else.

After my father suffered for many years with prostate cancer I decided to have myself checked annually. I've been going to Dr Richman for over 5 years now. Dr Richman is a caring doctor and very knowledgeable in his field. Dr Richman is very thorough and takes the time to explain procedures and different treatment options. Some men have a hard time speaking about their concerns but his professionalism and attention make it easy. His staff are very professional and caring to the patients needs.
