Dr. Martin George Ostro

The doctor and his staff are a bit quirky, but if you understand their humour you will see that they are not mean or condescending as others claim. Dr. Ostro spent 2 hours listening to my health history rather than just ordering expensive tests as many physicians do these days. His nurse administered a 4 hour allergy examination and was friendly throughout the process. Overall I am very satisfied with the care I received.

Visit #1: 30 min wait time. However Dr. Ostro spent approx. 3 hrs documenting my medical background from childhood to present. I was given environmental allergy & Spirometry tests. Dr. listened to my lungs and then we discussed my currently un-managable asthma. I was taken off 2 inhalers and given a Breo Ellipta inhaler plus a nasal spray 2x2 daily. I can report after 2 follow up visits I have not been able to breath like this in over 12 years and no asthma attacks. His nurse is very friendly

He is very rude and condescending. He corrected the way I spoke and told me You're already off to a bad start and You're not at a cocktail party, you're at a doctor's office when my answer to when my allergies began didn't have a specific year in it. I wanted to just walk out. I should have, but I had been waiting for that appointment for a month and my allergies are terrible. I regret not walking out.
