Dr Kornblum was great when I got in my motorcycle accident in 2020. I would recommend this office to everyone, they are very nice and very nice to their patients. They listen to what you have to say. I love this office.

I have been seeing Dr. Kornblum since 2003. 1 neck and 5 back surgerys. His surgical expertise, knowledge and compassion make him one of the best Dr.'s in his field! I am blessed to have him for my Spine Specialist!

I’m now paralyzed in a wheel chair two years after he treated me.

I love this man been my Dr for 23years and 5back and neck surgeries

I had Dr Kornblum do three surgeries one neck and two low back and can’t say enough good things about this man I highly recommend him

BEWARE OF THIS GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY SURGEON!!!!He performed major back surgery on my dad and months later he dropped dead. He performed numerous (20+) surgeries on my dad through the years, and after one of them in the early 2000’s he told me point blank afterwards “ I do not advise your dad to get ANY MORE SURGERIES. He has too much scar tissue “ Then years later when my dad went to him for a consultation I was there, and asked if there were other methods Other than surgery that would help and he said “yes there are”. Yet in the end of 2019 he operated on him anyway!! Months later in May 2020 he passed, his heart gave out. One body can only take so much. I AM WRITING THIS TO WARN PEOPLE, Dr’s DONT always know best. Please get multiple opinions. My dad had many other surgeons consult with him and NONE OF THEM WOULD DARE OPERATE ON HIM. That should tell you something. I miss him so much he was only 66 years old and so full of love. Please please be careful when you put your life into another’s hands, ESPECIALLY when they will profit greatly by operating on you or a loved one. Very short wait time, both professional and patient

Dr. Kornblum is amazing! I was in a motor vehicle accident in November of 2019. The first day I met Dr. Kornblum, he explained everything in detail. After 2 years of treatments, Dr. Kornblum suggested that I move forward with surgery. I had a double fusion on 10/14/21 and I couldn’t have been more impressed. I was so nervous to move forward with surgery but Dr. Kornblum and his staff made me comfortable and full of confidence. If you or someone you live need neck surgery, Dr. Kornblum is the go to. DR. MARTIN KORNBLUM IS BY FAR THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER MET. IF I COULD GIVE HIM A 0 I WOULD. HE IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 12:20 I GOT HERE ON TIME AND SIGNED PAPERWORK AND THEY DIDNT CALL NE BACK UNTIL 1:10 PUT ME IN A ROOM THEN THE DOCTOR DIDNT COME IN UNITL 1:45. Deceptive practice Made an appointment for DO. Steve Acker at 12 MILE WARREN, first appointment hoping for an expert evaluation , but was seen by PA. Very pleasant, professional and informative. A great team with the physical assistance.

The admin staff were courteous and helpful. I didn't have to wait too long in the waiting room or in an exam room. The nurses, PA's an Dr himself were all nice, respectful, answered my questions and most importantly I was actually listened to and all my concerns were addressed. Since I was going for multiple tests as well as following up with different specialists, admin staff took care to book all tests as well as follow up appointments.

Great listener and give attention to was shared with a solution as to what can be done. Excellent Dr.

If you could imagine great customer care on steroids, that is how they treat you. Dr. Kornblum is very kind and caring. I am very glad to have found a good and smart doctor who is not out 2 recommended surgery first. He explains well and simple so you understand everything. Great customer service.

Dr. Kornblum and his staff are excellent. His staff was friendly & courteous. Dr. Kornblum listened to my concerns and gave me advice on how to proceed in my healing process from spinal surgery. I would recommend Dr. Kornblum to anyone considering spinal surgery.

The PA and Dr Kornblum we're great. Everything was explained in a straightforward manner and all of my questions were answered. The wait time was reasonable, in both the waiting room and the exam room. I gave only 4-stars because of the front desk. Having done that job myself years ago I understand that it isn't easy. However, the young lady that checked me in treated me with unprofessional indifference, and borderline contempt. I was left with the impression that she doesn't like her job very much, and she likes the patients even less. If not for her I would have given a solid 5-star rating. After struggling with back pain, or what I thought was pain caused my back issues, Dr. Kornblum diagnosed my symptoms not the MRI image!!! What a miracle it had been to see him! He put me in touch with the centers SI joint doctor, Dr. Munk. He shed light on why I am in pain everyday. Finally, doctors that are LISTENING!!! Dr. Munk has a plan and this is the first time in many years I have hope! I look forward to my future plan and especially am look forwarding to finally being able to sleep at night, sit through a staff meeting and get out of chair without feeling like I'm 90 years old. Highly recommend Dr Kornblum and his staff

You may need to wait a few minutes to get in to see the doctor but it is WELL WORTH IT. After a car accident 4 yrs ago dr Kornblum recommended lower back and neck surgery. I admit I was scared. I finally agreed and put my full faith and trust in this man. SOO Happy that I did. I feel Great!! People are amazed that I get around and do so many of the things that I used to do. I LOVE DR KORNBLUM I dont know how to thank him HE GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK. I AM FOEVER GRATEFUL.

I felt he was very good and very honest which I appreciated. And I also appreciated that he didn’t rush into surgery but checked everything out thoroughly.

Absolutely terrible office. Every time I come here I end up spending 1.5-2 hours. Dr. Kornblum/ Mendelson are very quick with the patients once he finally gets into the room and doesn’t seem to care about your existence.

Very friendly, discussed my issue and was satisfied.

Front desk was very nice, PA was very informative, Dr Kornblum was great..

Dr. Kornblum and his staff were both attentive and empathic. He took the time to assist me and i felt supported in his care. I was glad my friend referred me to this practice for my neck and back injury. Dr. Kornblum demonstrated a high level of knowledge and understanding to assist me. I would absolutely recommend him to others.

First appointment, never met the man. he was in surgery. Dealt with a nurse practitioner. Second appointment, finally met him. Wish I hadn't. Validate I have spinal spondylosis thesis. But because it's a low grade and I don't need surgery, after all, he is a Spine Surgeon (which he made very clear), he dropped me as a patient, in under 5 mins. He seemed put off that he was even talking to me. Might be a great surgeon, but I'd rather be in pain.

Very unprofessional! The front desk staff have very nasty attitudes. The PAs aren't helpful at all and the doctors (Mendelson and Oddo specifically) are just as bad. I went there a total of two times and my insurance company spent thousands of dollars on back injections that didn't work before I was passed on to a PA that blew me off and said they can't help me. Dr. Martin Kornblum, provided me with a quality of life that had been eradicated since 1989, due to my spinal cord injury incurred during my tour of duty of "Operation Just Cause" in Panama. As a disabled United States Marine, I lived with chronic pain for over two decades. Dr Kornblum, has done a phenomenal job in restoring me back to some form of "normalcy." Strongly recommend this orthopedic surgeon.

I can't thank Dr Kornblum enough for performing successful spinal fusion on me Nov 2017. In Feb 2017 I underwent discectomies L4 and L5 but continued to suffer severe pain from S1 nerve compression for a total of eight very difficult months. I found this fantastic in-network surgeon on my own. Certainly pays to do ones homework ! I appreciate Dr Kornblum's exceptional bedside manner and his entire office staff as well as St John Macomb Hospital system.

I have been under his care for 2 1/2 years.I had a injury to L-4 and L-5 that i received in a fall on Feb 2014, i exhausted all the options with work comp and their MRI the issue was muscular.Aug 2014 i had pain 100% of the time and sought out Dr Kornblum he used their MRI,ripped disks with trapped nerves and surgery was required to fix the problem.His bedside manner is abrupt at times,but his hands are what i needed.His name IS OVER THE DOOR FOR A REASON,HE IS THE BEST IN HIS FIELD.
