Dr. Martin Daniel Fried

THe practice is closed as of august 2018 and Dr Fried is no longer practicing medicine

I had a similar experience as another patient, was told by the doctor (who makes the appointments himself) when I called for an appointment that he accepts my insurance. I arrived for the appointment and was told that he can no longer accept insurance and would take the time to see us if we paid him $500 for the first visit. The most horrifying experience ever. Also he has one room, which is his office and patient room. It is disgusting and full of clutter (half eaten apple on bookshelf).

Talked to him personally on 6/6 and set up a 6/18 appt. Confirmed that he took my insurance. Arrive at my scheduled time just as he was leaving. Claimed he forgot about our appt b/c his phone has been dead for 2 weeks. Told me he no longer takes insurance. I was never notified. He gave me a lecture about how it's not his fault that his phone died, insurance companies are out to get you, and he's worth $1000 an hour. Condescending and rude and I am sorry I wasted my time.

it was easy to make an appointment with dr fried and he saw us right away.. He helped monitor our children with celiac and gave good nutritional advice to help them on their gluten and wheat free diet. He is very knowledgeable, approachable and compassionate
