I've never had a doctor who took as much time and attention to my case, health history, and the explanation of the diagnosis as Dr. Tarpay. I highly recommend her and the staff in this office.

Dr. Tarpay made me feel like a person rather than a number. That's so difficult to find in Healthcare these days. She's huge on listening, conversing, and critical thinking. She took the time to address my case individually. Granted, there was a wait during the entire allergy testing process (I spent about 4 hours there) but, the staff was helpful, receptive, checked on me when I was waiting, personable, professional ect. I haven't had a visit this personally attuned, ever honestly. All the women working here are hard workers. Allergy tests take time, meeting with Dr. Tarpay takes time but it was worth it's weight in gold to get the answers I left with regarding a chronic skin issue. Side comment, pretty much everyone here has an accent, spanding from all different parts of the globe (including Dr. Tarpay). Please disregard previous comments about "not being able to understand people". The Dr and staff are multilingual. As a patient, be a decent human and put forth some effort to meet the staff halfway when conversing to overcome lingual barriers. Dr. Tarpay made me feel like a person rather than a number. Dr Tarpay takes her time w each patient. She is thourough, doesn't give up on hard cases, and can help. Listen, I know long waits can be hard, but try to schedule yourself as her first appointment of the day then, because the reason you wait is the same reason she is worth that wait. She takes her time w patients and never makes you feel like she doesn't have time for you. Once you have her in the room w you, she is 100% focused on one on one quality care. Horrible staff - waited 25 minutes to be told that there was only one nurse in the office to give allergy shots - and she was busy doing an allergy test. So, the receptionist - Grace- refunded my copayment and I left with no shot.

Biggest waste of time and money. My appointment time was over 3 hours, two of which I was waiting to be seen. Office staff wasn’t especially friendly and the nurse was clearly sick and difficult to understand. She acted rushed and put out. I left with no new answers to my questions. I would honestly be leaving 0 stars if possible. This place is awful. For starters, they rescheduled my appointment for my daughter that we had waited weeks for. When we finally got to our rescheduled appointment,They had us waiting in the waiting room for almost two hours (with my two year old). This place does not value your time and doesn’t care if they keep you waiting. After waiting about two hours and then going back to the room,( the rooms were dirty) we then waited another 30 minutes and finally walked out. Never returning. I cancelled my appointment after waiting hours past my scheduled time. Sad that it seems to be a common practice to keep patients waiting more than 15 mins past scheduled appointment which a lack of inadequate office management.

Office staff lies about trying to contact you. If the office staff is this incompetent I don't think we will be wanting to use this doctor.

Dr. Tarpay is absolutely amazing. Best doctor experience of my life and addressed all my issues.

I've been seeing Dr. Tarpay since I was very young a long time ago. More than one person in my family sees her and she has done so much to help us. The wait to get in can be pretty long, but she is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain things in detail.

Waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes to be seen. Had to leave because I had plans later in the day. The apt was simply to get a new nose spray. The front desk was nice, but less than helpful. Wont be returning.

DO NOT GET ALLERGY SHOTS AT THIS OFFICE!!! I have been getting allergy shots for three years with previous doctors and have NEVER had as much trouble as I have this year with this doctor. They said they would work with me and they have not. These shots caused a reaction when none of my other shots have. They tried to blame it on the vials being less diluted, but I called my previous doctor and the previous vial I had was as diluted as they can get. I was patient with all of this because once you start you can’t go anywhere else while building up and they said they would work with me, but now they hired a lady named Caprise who thinks she knows my situation and was VERY rude on the phone. If I had her level of customer service at my job I would be fired. Three years of shots now a waste because I came here. This place was a waste of our time. The appointment took half a day, and no accurate diagnosis or help. We waited over an hour in the room just to be seen. Then the doctor kept stepping in and out. The provider is in network with my insurance. The cherry on top was the bill that came in the mail. They never filed a claim with my insurance and sent me a bill for the remaining $375 instead after collecting my copay. These people don’t have a clue of what they are doing. This is the addition to my original review. They filed my insurance and the insurance paid at 100% because we have met our maximum out of pocket. My EOB stated that I don’t owe a copay for this visit. One thing that really mad me made about doctor tarpays office is you dont get the one on one time with her. You constantly have nurses coming in asking the doctor question that another patient has also sighing prescription Dr tarpay steps out several times to answer questions. Makes me made I go in for a follow up and i am there 6 hours so ridiculous. I pay for her time and dont even get it. So I have moved on to another allergist. She was a lifesaver for my daughter.

Dr. Tarpay literally created a new life for me by releasing me from the bondage of a chemical imbalance—identifying a resin allergy. I had gone to 3 other allergists who all gave up. She stuck with it, figured it out and gave me straight advise.

I haven’t even had the opportunity for my daughters first appt. first one, which we waited months for, was cancelled Bc the dr wasn’t going to be in. Second appt, 7-8 wks later, I call to confirm Bc I haven’t heard from the office... it’s an hr drive from me. She confirms then says “oh wait, she’s a new patient... we don’t have any drs available Today to see new pts. They have a meeting.” Not another appt available for two more months. The allergy test takes less then 4 minutes to do, and the results are set by a timer for 15 minutes. Add in a GENEROUS amount of time with the doctor of 30 minutes.... Why does it take 4 to 6 hours there? They tell all the people to plan 4 hours! I have a life! I can't be hanging out in a doctors office all day for NO REASON. Very bad management. Arrived to my first appointment 10 minutes early, prepared with paperwork, and was quickly seen my a nurse who took my vitals. Dr. Tarpay is a wonderful Dr. I had been sick for a long time. I was shuffled from Dr. to Dr. for several years. I kept hearing, from Dr. after Dr. I don't know why you keep getting sick. Finally I ended up in Dr. Tarpay's office. She kept testing, and working with my history until she found I have a Primary Immune Deficiency. Once treatment started, I have been 100% improved. Dr. Tarpay is excellent! My son’s asthma was not a adequately treated by his doctor. I took him to Dr. Tarpay, and she basically saved his life. He was ten years old, coughed and wheezed a lot at night, had a lung capacity of 30 percent in his small lungs and 50 in his large lungs. He could hardly walk from the bus stop one door away from us without passing out. After six months of her treatment, he won first place in the Putnam City School District fourth grade 50 yard dash. Dr.. Tarpay is an excellent Dr. I went to 4 different Dr.s in 5 years before Dr. Tarpay visit and she was able to diagnose and treat my illness. She is very thorough and does not quit before she has answers. I never mind waiting for Dr. Tarpay because when I have needed her, she works me in an appointment, and spends as much time with me as I required.

Unfriendly staff to the max!!!!!!!! Young girls and super immature. I suggest you go somewhere else if you value good customer service. The blonde haired supervisor isnt a good example either. smh.

I received a bill 1 year and 3 months after date of service. This was the last date I saw Dr. Tarpay. I called the billing dept and she told me the last girl didn't turn in claims or do things she was suppose to. I told her a bad employee is not my fault and sending a bill out 1 year and 3 months later is bad practice. Icing on the cake for the reasons I stopped going here!! After waiting over an hour, the nurse had no idea why we were there, and the PA thought we were there for an initial visit (while she had my daughter's chart in her hands). She didn't know what allergies they were testing for, or what test to give her. Her office is a three-ring-circus that will harm someone someday, if they haven't already. I would honestly never set foot in this place. I spoke with a lady named Tracy about a job opening. She was very rude and unprofessional. When I asked if I can do a phone or Skype interview, she seemed on board with the idea, until I told her my reasoning for that; we are a military family and are not in Oklahoma quite yet, but we will be in two weeks. She immediately shot down that idea and became very cold. I guess this practice does not support the military or military families. If I could give negative stars I would. I have been a patient here for several years and it is ALWAYS a fiasco when calling the office for the filling of serum. I called today because I am almost out of serum and they said I would have to come in for another visit before I could get a refill of serum and that they shouldn't been refilled it the last few times! Like that's MY fault? I requested an appointment 1st thing in the morning because I don't have the time to wait 4 hours!!!!! They can't get me in for an early morning appt till end of May! I have been seeing Dr. Tarpay for over 21-years! She is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had for my asthma and allergies. She is so thurough, kind, caring and top in her field. She takes her time to explain and listens to me. I highly recommend her and her wonderful staff.

Dr. Tarpay and her staff are rare gemstones in today's medicine! She genuinely cares about you, she takes the time to listen, she takes the time to explain and she literally saved my life! I don't understand these bad reviews on here at all because she is the BEST doctor I've had in my 57 years!!!

My kids have been patients here for several years, and the inconsideration of patients' time here is just infuriating. Every single time we arrive at an appointment, we spend at least 30 minutes past our appointment time to be deposited into a patient room. Then, once you get into a patient room, we wait another 30 minutes to an hour to have the dr. Or PA see us. Then, you dont grt their undivided attention. They are still popping in and out of your room andultiple.otger patient rooms. So, then you have to get back into the patient queue to be seen. So, by the time we are seen it is a full 1 1/2 hours past our appointment time. Then they drag out the appointment out for another hour or TWO while they try to treat way too any other patients at the same te as my kids. I think we're ready to make a change to a doctors office that is more considerate of my time. I have a job and don't have half a day to take off every time my child needs to be seen. This is tough. 2-1/2 stars. I appreciated the treatment we received but Jesus Mary and Joseph they have no respect or regard for people's time or jobs which is lost. Waiting an hour to two hours just in the waiting room is absurd. Waiting another hour in the patient room is just insulting. Wait times were through the roof and she was never completely committed to my appointment. Did not make an effort to seem as though she valued my time at all. Waits from 15 to 30 minutes at a time at random intervals throughout. She directed that I eat edamame for a soy allergy to challenge it, but disregarded all concerns and questions for my safety because of anaphylactic reactions. Refused to provide Prednisone when anaph. swelling occurred and was forced to go to the ER ($600 trip).

Dr. Tarpay and her Associates are remarkably thorough in their pursuit of finding the cause of your problem, treating the problems, and educating you how to effectively treat and control your problems. Although each appointment means a long visit, it is well worth your time - simple planning ahead to spend at least 2 hours with the assurance your care will be life changing. It has kept me well maintained through all bad seasons... I call it Tarpay magic!

Dr. Tarpay is very good at what she does. She has helped get my son's asthma under control and is very, very thorough. With that being said, plan on being at an appt for at least 2 hours. Parking is a nightmare and the wait is always crazy.

This might be the worst experience I have ever had at a Doctors visit. My 1 yr old had an allergic reaction to milk so I called in to schedule the appt I was put on hold 4 different times. When I attended my appointment I was given paperwork for an adult and they were surprised to find out the appointment was for my 1yr old! Afterward I was in the waiting room for 1.5hrs to then be put into a room for another 40mins. When the doctor finally arrived they told me that they couldnt assist that day!

They openly admit that they use scare tactics on bills, and they don't charge insurance like they should for out of their office office administered treatments. They send my allergy shot serum to my hometown Doctor where I get it administered, and bill my insurance as if I am administering the serum myself. They also waited 2 (two) years to notify me that my insurance wasn't paying the serums. If I could give them less then 1 star I would. I would not recommend this office. I went in to be tested for allergy shots; I ended up leaving after sitting and waiting to be seen after an hour and a half. As I left, the nurses stopped me and asked why I was leaving, I told them because I had just been sitting in the room waiting for a hour and couldn't wait any longer. They then told me that testing only takes about 15 minutes and they could do it now, to which I replied "if it only takes 15 minutes, why have I been waiting over an hour". (They didn't have much of an answer) Then they told me that if all I needed was to get tested for allergy shots, then "I should have scheduled with the PA and just made a follow up appointment with the doctor because she often gets backed up." As if I had any way of knowing that! The whole experience was terrible, from reading other reviews it seems as if the doctor has no respect for other people's time and needs to work on her own time management OR schedule realistic appointment times if she gets backed up. Amazing physician and staff! Took the time to really make my children feel secure and comfortable. Would highly recommend her for any asthma allergy or immunology needs!!!!

Dr. Tarpay was referred to us by our primary physician and several of friends. She is very knowledgeable and really took alot of time with us. I also had some issues with my insurance which their billing coordinator helped me resolve so that our visits are being paid like clockwork! I highly recommend Dr. Tarpay and her wonderful staff to all of our friends and anyone else that I come in contact with that struggles with allergies! Way to go girls ya'll are the best!!! I was in to see Dr. Tarpay this week. It might take her a while to get to a person but she is very through with each patient. She is a very smart doctor and is dedicated to her patients and her staff. If I had to wait all day for her I would. When I went in to be tested for allergies I was there for a while. The staff explained the reason was is Dr. Tarpay had a patient that had a reaction and she needed to be there. A nurse and Dr. Tarpay did my test in a matter of minutes. Dr. Tarpay is an exceptional care provider! She thouroughly explains things, never rushes me, and genuinely cares about my well-being. Her staff is also exceptional, nurses, front desk receptionist, and AP ladies - all just wonderful! I've experienced no issues with my account, insurance is filed immediately, they have never rushed me for payment on my portion. The wait time can be long; this is the only "con" in her column. I'm seeing Dr Tarpay for myself, but I know that many parents credit her for saving the life of their child, and/or giving their asthmatic children treatment that allows them to live fuller lives. We have been in 3 times over the past 6 months and have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes so to reference the other reviews I think that issue is resolved. Our first skin test appointment was 4 hr long but didn't seem like because someone was with us the majority of the time...we weren't just staring at the walls forever. The nurses are friendly and fast at what they do which I appreciate with a toddler and after having another experience at a lab for his blood draw. Dr. Tarpay came highly recommended and is very thorough. We didn't feel rushed at all and that means a ton to me. The PA, Meredith, has also been a pleasure. I'm very happy with this office. I read the two other reviews. One was good and one poor to fair. They were both true. This doctor does take time with her patients. You don't have to feel like you're being shuffled through an impersonal factory line. On the other hand, because she takes plenty of time with each patient, she tends to run behind in her schedule.
