The office from the beginning to end is awful. Very unfriendly. When they say 'you can't teach an old dog new tricks' its got truth to it here. The woman in that office besides Darlene need to just all call it quits and retire. If you hate your job so much, then simple, don't do it.

dr. hackett and her staff have been excellent in always being able to REALLY help me, including recommending the absolute best specialists when you need one .

I have tried with this Family Practice. Front desk Rude. Remember some people have had shots.... Waited an hour and a half only to be seen and advised on two other doctors for what I came in for.????????? Thank you for your service. I will move on now.

She diagnosed my daughter's thyroid cancer quickly. Brief but competent.

My family loves dr Hackett. We appreciate her knowledge on nutrition and finding the source of heath issues rather than pushing pills. Some may not agree, to us she is a beautiful and caring person. We will be sad but happy for her when she is ready for retirement.

I have used the Hackett Medical Group for more than 30yrs. Dr. Martha listens, she asks questions, she is very caring and though. My visit with Dr. Hackett was a waste of my time. She rushed through my appointment talking to me for 20 seconds, she didn’t address all the reasons for my visits and switched medication that I was on in which I had a reaction from (I didn’t want the change in medication). I switched doctors the next day and couldn’t be happier!

She is the meanest doctor I have ever been to. So rude. Talked to me via video chat for 20 seconds. I saw her since I was a child. She has changed. Never going to her again and strongly urge people to pick someone else.

New patient exam. Staff was very friendly and spent a lot of time with me on history. Dr. Hackett was very professional and patient, answering all my questions. I had an 8:30 am exam and did not have to wait; all COVID precautions were followed.

Everytime I go to this office, I leave feeling bad, anxious, and with none of my questions answered. She gives no time to interject with concerns or questions and is way too brief and blunt; no compassion at all. If you're a sensitive person who needs time to talk and someone to be gentle with you, this is not the doctor for you. After having several appointments, going to each with the hopes it would go better than last time, I've decided to search for a different doctor.

Dr. Hackett is the rudest doctor I ever had. When my 5 minutes are up she gets up and walks out before I have a chance to ask all my questions. I decided I am not going to put up with the rudeness and left after a couple visits. Don’t waste your time with Dr. Hackett.

Dr. Martha Hackett cares more about me than any other doctor than I have ever had. Over the years I have had to chose another doctor because of insurance. Getting back to Dr. Hackett has been a godsend. I missed her greatly and am glad to be back in her care. She is a difference maker in my life.

I have been going to Hackett Medical for approximately 20 years. I absolutely loved Dr. Ciotti, and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kaelber, the new arrival. However, Hackett Medical's staff is another story entirely. Take this for-instance: the appointment that I made for this morning was never, apparently, logged into the system, so when I arrived, I was told to simply come back later. This is consistent with how my wife's been treated here, too -- when she came down with a very bad cold several months ago, she was simply instructed to go to the Minute Clinic as the there was no way they could fit her in with either doctor for the entire week. (At least the one staff member who was perpetually angry and extremely passive-aggressive was let go a few years back -- that's made a *considerable* difference. Unfortunately, there's still a long way to go...) If it weren't for all the barriers to see her, I really would recommend Dr. Kaelber in a heartbeat -- she's warm and kind and attentive; unfortunately, however, it can be exhausting just to get your foot into the door. I have used this doctor's office for 10 years to treat illnesses and for my kids' school physicals. I loved seeing Dr. Ciotti, but she retired. This visit was the first time I've seen Dr. Ciotti's replacement, and it was a nightmare. The wait time was excessive at over an hour. Most of the staff was short tempered, except for one nurse who has always been a doll. When the doctor did come in, she stated the computer system linking the lab was down and she couldn't get my lab results unless someone called for them, and she refused to call the lab. Instead of taking 5 minutes to do that necessary action, she spent over 20 minutes questioning the hospital doctor's diagnosis and my knowledge of my symptoms, aggressively "encouraged" me to stop drinking milk and eating meat, then insulted my intelligence related to an unrelated chronic illness I've lived with for 30+ years. To top it off, she wanted to run the same tests I'd already paid for at the hospital, all because she couldn't access the result without calling the lab which she didn't want to do. She diagnosed me with three different problems while sitting across her desk from me, based on what she thought my symptoms were, not on what I was telling her. Bottom line, a patient should never have to be verbally combative with their doctor, but that's what I had to do to get her to call the lab. When she finally did so, my "story" and the doctor's diagnosis was validated and she grudgingly treated me with a round of antibiotics, however she gave me a shortened supply so I can only hope it actually works. I wish I could give them less than 1 star... I stopped seeing Dr. Hackett a few years ago because never cared to ever actually find out what was wrong with me and the few times she tried, she was wrong. My husband has still seen her associate a few times since then for his anxiety medication. He asked me to make him an appointment because he has no more refills left. First, he asked me to find him a new doctor because he said he has always been made to feel like a failure when he sees Dr. Kaelber, who questions if he needs the medication and says talking to a psychologist should help (he's been seeing one for years...) I asked if he could see her one last time because he's down to his last few pills and he agreed. The receptionist could not have been more rude. I was completely dumbfounded by her nasty tone, condescending attitude, and constant interruption as I tried to speak. I told her to forgot the appointment, we'll find another doctor and I hung up. I called my husband, expecting him to be upset that I didn't make an appointment - he was relieved! He said he was actually starting to have a panic attack at the idea of going back to her because he didn't want to be made to feel like garbage again. The fact that someone fears going to a doctor not because they're afraid of needles, but because they feel worthless when leaving is absolutely disgusting to me and I'm glad to finally say we're done with them! I have left this practice and found a new regular doctor. When I first started going here 10 years ago, it was fine. Now, it is horrible. The doctor does not even say hello or good bye. She comes in for less than one minute and you do not have a chance to ask questions because you have no idea the appointment is ending because she just leaves. This has happened each visit for the last 3 years. You don't even have an opportunity to tell her all of your symptoms. Additionally, if you do not abide by her dairy free, meat free diet, then every problem you have she blames on you eating dairy. I gave it two stars rather than one because it is easy to get in for immediate appointments. However, you'd probably be more satisfied and taken care of if you went to a walk-in clinic. Another big issue that I had was that I saw the doctor talking down to the staff. I do not like seeing that and I feel terrible for the staff. The staff is ridiculously rude and the doctor isn't concerned with patient care at all. She told me every time I was there that my issues were due to drinking milk...even the one time that I was there for birth control!!

not good her office staff are so rude they act like they hate there job.the doctor pushes her beliefs on you ..dont drink milk or dont eat anything with a face.. say run like hell to another doctor

After a weekend trip to the ER, I had a follow up with this dr for lab results. Wait was 1hour+, I was told the computer system was down so I couldn't get my results, unless someone called, and the dr refused. She aggressively pushed veganism, dx'd me w/ 3 separate illnesses from across her desk and insulted my intelligence. No one should have to be verbally combative with their dr to get basic care. Finally calling the lab, my ER dx was confirmed. Antibiotics were then grudgingly offered.

It is my belief that because of Dr. Hackett we almost lost my brother. My best advice for anyone who see's this doctor is to find another one.

I was in on 5-31-18 after having a heart attack sat in the doctor room for 1:20 min I got up a left I also have diabetes had nothing to eat for 15hr had to fast for blood work I will not go to her ever again

Staff has zero sense of urgency. I’ve been seen 4 times this year and have updated my info every time and they lost my phone number... takes days or weeks to get referrals anywhere (even though my condition could be serious). Makes you feel helpless and not taken very seriously. Would not recommend this doctors office.

I had my husband see Dr Hackett to change his dosage for an anxiety medication. Dr Hackett told him he was too young to be on meds and that he should be able to deal with anxiety on his own. HE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED SINCE HE WAS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! HIS WHOLE FAMILY HAS THE SAME PROBLEM!!! How can a doctor be so ignorant? You will not be happy with this doctor. You will wait an hour to see her every appointment. She will rush you when you do see her. She will push her natural medicine on you every time, even if you’ve already tried it and it didn’t work. "Quit drinking milk" these three words. EVERY. SINGLE. VISIT. "I have some seasonal depression" Here take these pills. No discussion at all. I usually wait 30-40 minutes and for a (I timed it) 3 minute 45 second visit with the doctor. I was then changed $115......for less than 4 minutes. But she'll be thrilled to see you her programs that cost hundreds of dollars but aren't covered by insurance.

I have been going to this doctor my whole life, and I haven't been their in a while. Last time I went she didn't ask how I was feeling or if I had any questions or wanted to talk about anything. She walked in and said I need to stop drinking milk. I barely even drink milk but that was all she said was how bad milk is. Will never be back or recommend

I have gone to Dr. Hackett for two years, I am actively looking for a new doctor. She gives little to no attention to your concerns and is quick to blame any physical health concerns on your weight. She makes no eye contact and makes no attempt at conversation. A trip to her office is usually an all around unpleasant experience. Also, you if you have $6,000 laying around, she has a weight loss program for you.

Dr Hackett does not have a bedside manner. You are just a dollar sign. The wait is very long and she will spend 3 minutes with you. She doesn't give you time to ask questions and if you are lucky enough to ask, she rushes you and doesn't really listen. Martha needs to read these reviews and make some changes. Will not return.

Visit to Dr Hackett was not a pleasant experience. She talked over me, was very insultive and condenscending to say the least and never made eye contact. Bedside manner is nil. Would not receommned her. Dr Hackett never addressed concerns i went to her for , was curt and abrupt. Non receptive to questions. Left with such a NON warm and fuzzy feeling.

I've been a patient of Dr Martha for years. But she seems more interested in her alternative medicine classes and rushing you out the door than actually being a doctor these days. Very short visit times, no chance to talk to her. Last couple times I've seen her were at most a minute with the doctor followed by a referral. No questions, no patience. Looking for a new doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Hackett for 15 years. All the staff have been personable and a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Hackett has always been sensitive to my concerns and has given me alternatives for a speedy recovery. Dr. Hackett has never rushed me and has always spent what I see as a fair amount of time dealing with my concerns. If I have had to wait in the waiting room or examining room I am ok with that for I feel that others may have more serious health issues or it's cold and flu season.

Dr. Martha has been my doc for years...Love her. She is a no nonsense doctor, always right to the point and always correct. She saved my Colorado vacation this Nov. I was able to climb and move through the 9000 ft elevation because she diagnosed and treated me with a late appointment...

I gave this office a shot because I knew people that had gone there for years. I have never met such rude staff... with the exception of 1 nurse who has been there for a long time. You wait an hour or more in the lobby.... wait 30 mins in the exam room.... and if you are lucky the Dr spends 5 mins with you and that is being generous.... And to not even bother to ask if you have any questions or concerns like you are not important enough... this is not ok. The receptionists are so rude!

Hackett is knowledgeable, but her bedside manner is horrible! She's a robot, utter lack of compassion. I've waited for over an hour in the waiting room on multiple visits. One time, I set a timer. Took me 55 minutes to get into the exam room, another 15 before seeing Hackett. She spent 1min 35 sec in the room with me! Absurd. Her staff is awful. Rude, and unhelpful. If you need help after hours, good luck! "On call" is a a joke. I'm looking for a new doctor STAT!

Because we are plant-based, I wanted to find a doctor for myself and son. I have had nothing but frustration with this office. Most of the staff is rude, with few exceptions. The wait time is over and hour and we’ve been their twice and on time. I’ve experienced more than one event of miscommunication with the receptionist, the nurse, the doctor, and billing. I will not be returning to this office. Very disappointed! I will return to the Cleveland Clinic in Beachwood.

Started out great but now seems like she is spread too thin. You get about 30 seconds with the actual Doctor. I'm switching from this practice after seeing the Doctor reprimand the staff in front of me. Overall, the professionalism of this office has gone downhill over the past two years.

Dr Hackett has been my doctor for many years, and I feel lucky to have found her. She offers both medical and healthy living guidance to her patients. On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd rate her at least a 17, maybe 17.5. Dr Ciotti is also quite excellent.

Dr. Hackett is very knowledgeable my only complaint with her is that she's too fast in her individual appointments. She gets up and leaves before asking if I have any more questions or need anything further. I feel like I need to rush through my questions before she leaves please slow down.
