I was a patient of Dr. Gray from 2015 to 2017. When I would see her, she kept telling me that I wasn't sick. She didn't refer me to doctors that I asked for and kept telling me that I was healthy. During that time I had lots of viruses and lung infections that landed me in the UM ER & Urgent Care. I couldn't breathe, was dizzy, coughing and had low energy - things I complained about to Dr. Gray. It was the ER doctor who sat me down and told me that my lungs were in bad shape, I had cold reactive asthma and I wasn't going to last 10 more years if I didn't get proper treatment. It was a wakeup call. I quit Dr. Gray, moved south and got a new team. Had a pulmonary study done for the first time (she wouldn't order one) and they confirmed I have mod-severe reactive asthma. My new doctor has me on daily meds, today I can breathe, am able to be active again, and haven't had to visit the ER since that fateful day. I am so thankful I survived her practice.

I went to an appointment for Dr. Martha Gray and she could not have been ruder. I needed to change medications and she basically invalidated my mental health struggles and made me feel stupid for even asking questions. I would NOT recommend for any mental health issues, you’d be better off anywhere else. I can understand how she might appeal to boomers but she has no bedside manner or manners for that matter. Her “straight-forward” attitude just came off horrible. I went to an appointment for Dr. Martha Gray and she could not have been ruder. Dr.Martha Gray is a very nice and intelligent doctor. She has a “ dry” personality but will freely answer any of your health concerns. I like her and have faith in her as a good doctor. She is very honest and direct.Office nurses and staff are always friendly.

My wife and I have been Dr. Gray's patients for over 20 years. I had multiple doctors before that and I have seen few others when Dr. Gray was not available on a short notice. By far, she is the best one. I sometimes panic when I get some symptoms of different kinds; after checking me out, she takes the time to explain why my hypotheses were not valid. From her explanations I learned a lot. Dr. Gray is very caring and passionate about helping me and my wife live a healthy life. I always feel that she puts patients' interest ahead of any one including insurance and drug industry. In short, I will never stop seeing Dr. Gray and I would strongly recommend her.

Received a return call from this physician, as she was the MD on call for the PIIM group. Aa the POA of my 80 year old Father and a nurse for 30 years, I explained that my Father has body aches and temp of 100.4 and went for COVID testing but they were not tested for influenza. Requested tamiflu as it indicated in elderly patients with symptoms of the flu within 48 hours of onset. She refused. Stated “it is not the standard of care for COVID.” I stated that I was not asking it for the treatment of COVID rather, as the standard of care for the flu and his symptoms were consistent She told me to take my Dad to the ER even though he was in no distress and admitted she didn’t have access to his chart. I wonder Dr. Gray, if this is how you would choose to care for your loved ones? There are many Physicians out there... do not settle for this kind of a Physician who expresses absolutely zero compassion. She is Very arrogant and rude.

I was under the impression that I was being interrogated by a nazi at a concentration camp. Was this even a human being? Something is horribly wrong with it. To treat or to mistreat - that is the question.

Martha Grey is the queen of entitled doctors and has no desire to help her patients. I have had strep 5 times back to back in the last month and I needed to get a referral in order to get my tonsils removed because none of the medicine/antibiotics were making a long lasting effect on my illness. When I went to her office for the first time she told me “in general looked healthy enough” And that she had many more patients with “real issues”. She expects me to come back to her office to take a strep test that will essentially show nothing because I was instructed by urgent care and ENT to take new prescribed medications so why would you want to do a test you already know is going to be negative. At the end of my first visit she basically said I was lying and I have no proof when in fact I have all of the medical record label from all five of my rapid strep tests SO WHAT NOW. To Martha Grey please learn some manners and maybe choose a different profession because this is not working out for you. I have been seeing Dr. Gray for 34 years. Recommend her to my mother who absolutely loves her. She is straight forward and always makes sure you understand the rationale for her decisions. In the 34 years I have been seeing her she has sent me to a specialist when I needed to see one. I like her style.

Misdiagnosed my wife as menopause and sent her home and told her to take some Tums. That was in Sept. 2019. Ended up as Stage 4 Lung Cancer in Jan 2020. Lost some precious time in treating the cancer. All she needed to do was to have a chest X-ray. It was pretty obvious in the X-ray.

I agree. Her too close-mindedness to see beyond her own arrogant ego serves only herself. Any patient being treated by a doctor with such attitude will suffer under their self servitude.

Went to Dr. Gray because my old doctor was always booked. During our interactions Dr. Gray had no bedside manner, would often arrive very late, and become irritated when I would ask questions. Will be looking for another doctor.

This so-called doctor does not listen to her patients. She caused the death of my mother who complained of pain for over nine months. Dr. Gray patted her on the head and said you are not getting any younger. I have experienced only the best medical care from Dr, Gray. She is a no-nonsense doctor who may seem abrupt at times but I've always felt she knows her stuff and has a keen eye to diagnose a condition and explain, often with diagrams of the body, what is causing my symptoms. Her exceptional competence surely outweighs any perceived shortcomings in her bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Gray

I had the WORST experience with Dr. Marta Gray. She is the most rude and arrogant MD I've ever met. She doesn't show professionalism and/or care for the patient. Even though she said she has 35 years of experience, her diagnosis on my husband's case was WRONG!! She even dare saying that my husband's pain, the previous night, was relieved by the "placebo" effect of the medicine prescribed by her partner Doctor on call. I would never recommend anyone to visit this lady.............shame on her!!!! I had the WORST experience with Dr. Marta Gray. She is the most rude and arrogant MD I've ever met. I had to cancel an appointment 20 minutes from now due to grandaughter emergency pick up at school. No problem rescheduling!!! My prior visit with Dr. Gray was great. She answered all my questions. She was very thorough She seemed on top of my many records from U. of M and St. Joseph's. I was impressed.

I made an appointment to follow-up on a persistent symptom that has lingered for nearly 7 weeks. My primary was not available, so I was assigned to see Martha. She was rude, condescending, belittling, and arrogant. She would not listen when I spoke. This woman should hang up her stethoscope immediately. Laying on your death bead alone would be better than seeing her.

This dinosaur needs to retire or pop off. She is the meanest and lacks basic people skills, worst physician I have ever encountered.

Worst experience I've ever had in my life the receptionist named Lynn . Was just rude and nasty with me the whole time just because I didn't have an appointment even though all I wanted to do was speak to a doctor so she proceeded to call the nurse who proceeded to tell me that I must leave if I didn't have an appointment even though All I want to do is speak to a doctor she then threatened to call the cops all because I want to speak to the doctor without an appointment the worst in Nastiest place I've ever been to and I feel bad because one of the doctors is actually a close friend of the families but her receptionist makes her patients feel horrible. Dr Gray medical advice is by far the best I have received from any doctor. If you want someone to hold your hand and coddle you then she is not for you. If you want a doctor who cuts to the chase and is willing to give you the tools to lead a healthier life, then I would highly recommend her. This profession needs more caring doctors like her!

Dr. Gray has a poor bedside manner. She is often blunt in her responses to legitimate questions. She tends to talk down to you, has little patience with basic questions and is easily offended by any questions she feels are 'not important' or come across as "trivial" to her. On my most recent visit, I felt demeaned and left the office near tears.

I thought I had pneumonia. She immediately told me (pre-examination) that I did not but said if I wasn't better in so many days she would send me for a diagnostic test. I kept getting worse, so I went for the diagnostic test on a Friday. Five days later her nurse (not her) called to say I had pneumonia. I have never been as sick as I was those several weeks. And besides failing to diagnose, she was one of the most terrible human being I have ever met -- angry, critical, mocking.
