Dr. Marla Kushner

Tried to make an appointment a couple times. First time they cancelled my appointment because they didn't tell me I needed to fill out paperwork 24hours in advance. Second time they said they needed to verify with the doc that I'd be the "right fit" and ultimately never called back. I suppose I was no longer a fit there

Great experience with this office everytime, ive been going here for 4 years now and it’s always been a pleasure to see my dr aka Dr Marla kushner everytime . As I have my bad days and things are not going as planned she is always there to talk things out with me and I really appreciate that . Dr Kushner is absolutely amazing!!! She is so patient and understanding. She just has such a warm, kind energy to her. She makes me feel comfortable and not ashamed of my addiction. The Suboxone program has changed my life!!

Dr. Kushner is absolutely amazing. She is a genuine and caring doctor. She takes the time to get to know you and understand your health to better help you. However, her front desk staff continue to lie. I won’t be returning to the office because dealing with them has turned into everything but pleasant. Very sad.

The best doctor in all of Chicago

Dr Kushner has been my doctor for over 10 years and is absolutely amazing. I never have a problem scheduling an appointment and her wait times are incredibly low, which is very uncommon with healthcare providers today. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor that is easily accessible and extremely detailed.

Caring, honest and supportive are just a few words to describe Dr. Kushner and her staff. Dr. Kushner has an amazing bedside manner and really goes out of her way to make you feel heard and cared for. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an intelligent and caring physician.

If you live in the Chicago/Chicago suburban area and are struggling with addiction, do yourself a favor and give Dr. Kushner's office a call. I was a heavy opiate abuser for 10 years. A friend recommended Dr. Kushner to me. I had seen so many doctors in the past, I have had 4 other experiences with doctors who specialized in addiction and Dr. Kushner is head and shoulders above the rest of them. She is brilliant; an unusually compassionate doctor in this field and on the forefront battle of addiction. This is her life's work and you can tell. She does believe in the power of medication combined with other sober related therapies when coming up with a plan of action. She will never shame you are pressure you change something up if it is working for you. (Which is something I have experienced with other similar doctors in this field) When you walk out of her office after an appointment you feel like you can take on the world. She empowers you with her compassion for helping those with addiction issues and the personal relationship she creates with you. I really could go on and on because she has saved my life but also empowered me to save my own. Do yourself a favor and give her office a call. Dr. Kushner is a consummate professional who goes above and beyond the strict call of duty for her patients. Dr. Kushner is always so kind, informed and attentive. I've been a patient of hers since I moved to the city 3+ years ago. Her staff is a wonderful group of people. In my experience, the wait is normally not long.

Dr. Kushner has been my primary doctor for a few years. My favorite part about her is that she involves me in my care. She takes her time to explain what is going on and why. She cares about caring for me. I have never felt like just a number. I also like that she often has medical students shadowing with her. She takes the time to help them become excellent physicians.
