Dr.Whitten is wonderful! He takes the time to talk to you and explain everything that’s going to happen. The staff is so friendly especially the front desk.

Maybe 3.5 stars at most. Spent a long time waiting: 45 mins waiting and 10 min of examination on two appointments.

Thank you, Dr. Whitten, and team! I have dreamed of correcting my vision my whole life. When I finally had the opportunity (vision had stabilized and life circumstances had aligned), I chose Dr. Whitten on referral of a trusted family friend and doctor. I am so happy I did. Whitten’s team was able to schedule my initial consult quickly, and they remembered my name, face, and story for every visit thereafter. Everyone was respectful, professional, comfortable, and, most importantly, effective. I love my new vision!

This was a great experience. I went to another office prior to Dr Whitten and there was no comparison as I made the right decision selecting Dr Whitten. My eyes were in great hands and I never worried. I'm 3 days after my surgery and I never though I would see this great without glasses. Thank you to all the staff and Dr Whitten!

I had LASIK with Dr. Whitten. He and his staff were wonderful. The most helpful thing during the procedure itself was definitely getting a narration of what he was going to do just before he did it. My eyesight now is great! I can see people! I can drive without glasses!

Dr. Whitten and his staff are knowledgeable, punctual, kind, and comforting. My experience was phenomenal from start to finish. I experienced no pain and was amazed at how clear my vision was immediately after (20/20!). Dr Whitten talked me through the entire procedure in a calm, soothing voice so I knew what to expect and never felt nervous. My only regret is that I didn’t do this years ago!

Dr. Whitten had performed LASIK on my eyes about 20 years ago to correct my distance vision. 20 years later, I grew tired of depending on reading glasses for close up and medium distance vision. Since the Raindrop procedure is no longer available, I was evaluated for blended vision. Dr. Whitten enhanced my distance vision in one eye and my near vision in the other eye. I could not be more thrilled with the results. I dealt with Dr. Rose for much of my evaluations leading up to surgery and she was fantastic to deal with. Since I had already had experience with Dr. Whitten, I knew what to expect on the day of surgery. It was great to see that he was just as calm, reassuring and professional as he was 20 years ago. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish with no complications whatsoever. My vision was great the same day.

Excellent experience. Received LASIK treatment for both eyes last week. Both Dr. Whitten and staff were excellent. Wonderful to see so well without glasses or contacts. Would recommend Dr. Whitten and Whitten Laser Eye.

Pleasant and knowledgeable staff as well as Dr. Whitten and his assistant during the procedure. There is no waiting, very timely and I couldn't be happier with my current vision. Reasonable and well worth the $ spent, highly recommend.

I had very bad Cataracts in both eyes I was recommended to see Dr Whitten and boy am I glad I dis I could barely see before and now both eyes are 20/20 I still can hardly believe how great my eyes are after his minor procedre ,he is the best,just wish I had seen him sooner

Thrilled with results of my Lasik. Dr. Whitten was very professional at each visit. The procedure itself was very impressive. He carefully and clearly explained every step during the procedure, keeping this anxious patient’s mind at ease. (The Valium ahead of surgery was appreciated as well.)

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! I am very grateful for the recommendation to get my surgery done here. I could see at least 20/20 at my next day appointment, which was only 17 hours after the surgery. As others have said, Dr. Whitten has a great bedside manner during the procedure and his staff helps the process go extremely smoothly. Wait times were minimal and information provided was excellent. Thank you Dr. Whitten, and thank you to the rest of your exceptional staff!

Don't bother calling. Their doctors are all part time so if you have a chronic severe situation, they cannot treat you. Southern Maryland really sucks when it comes to eye care, in my opinion.

The procedure was a great experience thanks to Dr. Whitten talking me through every step. The staff is so polite and helps prepare you at every appt prior to and actually care at all the post op appts. So worth it!

Best decision, ever! I had wanted to get laser eye surgery for years, but was always on the fence about it. This procedure was so fast and Dr. Whitten walks you through the entire process in your consult AND as he is doing the surgery. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat! Easy setting up the appointment, in and out on operation day quickly even after Doctor Whitten took the time to explain to me the procedure and what to do afterwards. Great price for this kind of freedom. Been wearing glasses for 35 years, contacts for 25, was so relieved to not require them anymore, I can see my alarm clock next to my bed without putting on my glasses, I have better than 20/20 vision now. Dr. Whitten was very knowledgeable and friendly! He talked me through every step of the lasik eye surgery and before I knew it, we were done. It only took a few minutes! All of the staff are very pleasant and professional, not a single bad thing to say.

Since I had my surgery my vision is great! It's wonderful to be able to see without glasses or contacts.

Dr Whitten and staff are wonderful. He is a true professional in eye care. I had cataract surgery done by Dr. Whitten. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him!

All went as scheduled. By the next day, I could read all except the bottom line of the eye chart. Prior to the surgery, I couldn't see the top line without my glasses. I did not get the raindrop procedure but rarely need to wear reading glasses, and I am using the lowest strength. I am very happy that I had the surgery!

Dr. Whitten and his staff are great. I felt very comfortable with him and felt like I was in good hands. He has such a great bedside manner. My procedure was so quick and I had very little discomfort afterwards. I would definitely recommend Dr. Whitten to anyone thinking of getting Lasik.

Dr. Whitten and his staff were amazing. The whole process was a well oiled machine. Unlike many other doctor's visits, I barely spent anytime in the waiting room. Dr. Whitten was great and talking you through the procedure and everyone was so friendly. It was a great experience and I feel like I have superhero vision.

The whole staff was cordial, polite, caring and understanding of my concerns. Wish I would of done this long time ago!!

From start to finish, everyone at this office was kind, helpful, re-assuring, compassionate, and overall amazing. I had a little anxiety going in, but at every step of the way there was a staff member there to ensure I was doing alright. Every appointment was extremely fast and efficient (from my first to the end of surgery ~2 hours). The procedure went flawlessly and my eyes have been better than perfect ever since! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Whitten and his staff for Lasik!

AMAZING!!! At the time I had Lasik, I was 2 months shy of 47 and I've worn glasses since the 4th grade. I could not function with out my glasses. They went on as soon as I woke up and did not come off until I went to bed. Dr. Whitten changed my life. The only word I can think of to describe it is...AMAZING! I woke from the nap after the procedure and my vision was perfect. I could read the menu on the TV, street signs, score boards, you name it. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Whitten!

BEST DECISION I'VE MADE IN MY LIFE!!! I am 50 years old and have had bad vision since 3rd grade (almost blind) Now I see better than 20/20 No pain a all HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ?????????
