I accompanied my father on a visit to be seen by Dr. Mark Vine and the service we received was poor. The receptionist did NOT seem to be aware how to communicate with people who did not share the same cultural and/or racial background. She portrayed a very “stank” attitude when communicating with my father. It was highly unappreciated and some cultural training would be beneficial for this office/clinic. There was a clear breakdown in communication regarding insurance and filling a prescription. Instead of offering some helpful tips on how to proceed or getting someone who could the assist, we as patients, were met with a very snarky “WE DON’T DO THAT HERE”. Furthermore the physician was not able to assist the reason for the visit and instead of out right saying “I am unable to assist you” wrote a prescription for painkillers. What was the point?
