This is my second knee replacement with Dr. Tenholder and the first one was such a success I had no doubt when it was time to get the second one done. Dr. Tenholder and staff were great and so was the PT team in their Niceville office.

The level of care I received during my knee replacement, follow up visit and PT has been outstanding. I am very pleased with the progress I am making and will have the second knee don before year end!

I was very impressed that I received emails daily from Dr. Tenholder to check in after my surgery. My questions were answered very quickly. The staff were very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The staff was very compassionate, explained procedures and made you feel comfortable, and to let family members come in during your stay.

Everything and everyone on the staff were outstanding. From my first meeting to pre-op to the system used to communicate with Dr Tenholder and his to to the surgery and all follow up I felt confident in my choice for this surgery. Great experience.

Everything from my first visit was excellent. Dr Tenholder is very easy to talk to and informative on all options available. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire knee replacement process.

Not happy to have been scheduled when dr. Ten holder was out of the office. If this was an emergency I will understand. If this was a “scheduled” absence I am dissatisfied. Under that condition I should have had the option to schedule the visit when he was in the office. I did not sign up for care by PA, I signed up for care by MD. I doubt you charge less for care by PA which is a lesser service than what was contracted for.

Front desk staff very nice, Dr Tenholder’s PA, Malcolm, professional and listened, X ray Tech very nice, and once again Dr Tenholder was very good, professional and we agreed on a plan of treatment .

I am very happy with my first knee replacement surgery. I am getting the second knee done next week. Since I have been through the process, I know what to expect. I think my surgeon, his staff and the hospital personnel go above and beyond to help their patients have a positive experience and a healthy recovery. Good job everybody!

I went to Dr. Tenholder for a second opinion. He was professional, thorough and kind as well as was the rest of the staff. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. I went to Dr Tenholder with pain in hip. After trying different ways to relieve pain, I had a total hip replacement. This procedure went very well, follow up incredible. Office professional and check in on a daily basis was excellent. Would highly recommend. His manner is relaxing, assuring and encouraging.

Dr. Mark Tenholder is an excellent physician/surgeon. My recent total left knee replacement went very smoothly. (My previous right knee replacement was performed in Memphis.) Dr Tenholder and his staff met all my needs for a total knee replacement surgery and now I am quite comfortable heading into having the second knee done because if the professionalism they all showed during this process. If I have a complaint it is that their accessibility by phone can be extremely frustrating. However Dr Tenholder was in touch with me personally daily for 2 weeks pre op and the same post op which allowed me to ask questions and have answers in hours or less! That was important and very comforting to me. I would definitely recommend buying the ice machine to facilitate recovery from knee surgery; it was a great asset to my pain management and healing. Dr. Tenholder has done multiple surgeries as well as treated injuries to various parts of my body, mostly my joints, thanks to years of contact sports. He has excellent bedside manner, and equally excellent outcomes on surgeries. His skill level is upper echelon, to say the least. And he's aligned himself with other reputable and competent surgeons and mid-level providers, as well as courteous and helpful ancillary staff at Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Tenholder is a very talented, down to earth and professional orthopedic surgeon with an outstanding bedside manner. My whole family has seen or have had surgery with Dr. T and would never consider anyone else. I just had my second hip replacement surgery with him. We trust him and his staff to get take care of us.

This was my second Total knee replacement with Dr Tenholder Highly recommended as I came from Hawaii to have this done due his expertise and success. His team is very professional and highly trained. Kept me well informed as to where we were and what was next.

I just had two total knee replacements, 3 months apart. The office is so efficient and explains everting, and Dr. Tenholder is never pushy about having surgery. You can wait months or years, whenever you’re ready. He is excellent!

Dr. Tenholder was highly recommended by several of his former knee replacement patients that are friends of ours here in PCB, Florida. From our very first consultation, we were very pleased with his pleasant and very through details about my future surgery. Following, my surgery Dr. Tenholder and all his TEAM have been exceptional. I plan to have this Team do my right knee replacement as soon as I fully rehab from my left knee replacement.

My wife has seen Dr Tenholder for a shoulder (A/C joint) surgery and also for nodules and swelling in her hand. This review is written by her. The FWB check-in staff 1/5/22 were very friendly, especially the trainee. Personable, responsive, and professional, quick to take care of details needed to begin the process smoothly and quickly. 5 stars to those ladies. Dr Tenholder's PA has been with him more than 10 years. Not only has he always been personable and friendly, but very thorough, concise, and moves the examinations along quickly but comprehensively. The icing on the cake is Dr Tenholder himself. He is always professional, easy to talk to, upbeat and pays close attention to the details. He clearly explains options in treatment without pushing for surgery. But when surgery is necessary, i will always go to him. They are all so polite and friendly and never in a hurry. Although they have a million patients, staff out with COVID I didn’t have to wait but five minutes. When Dr Tenholder gave me my shot in the shoulder I kept asking when he was going to do it after he was placing the bandaid on. Such professional, kind nurse, PA, and Doctor and desk clerks. Been there 3 times and would check in 30 minutes before as I drive in from Panama City. I either got in early or was in the back office at the time of appointment. Once you get in back officer there is minimal wait time there. All PA's and nurses friendly and efficient. The offices are very clean as one would expect.

Dr. Tenholder is an excellent Doctor he performed hip surgery on my husband and he did an excellent job, my husbands incision healed beautifully and my husband is walking very very good the surgery went very well my husband and I were very comfortable having Dr. Tenholder as his Doctor he is very knowlegible and very professional his bedside manners are outstanding, he took the time to explain everything to us he’s very patient and thorough he has a wonderful staff I wish every doctor was like Doctor Tenholder I would like to tell anyone who is in need of an orthopedic Doctor let him be your first choice you won’t be disappointed because we weren’t .

If I could give Dr. Tenholder and his amazing team a 10 star rating I would! He has repaired a torn meniscus on each of my knees, 4 years apart...the latest being this month. An excellent recovery begins with a great surgeon, and he is just that! He and his staff go above and beyond to ensure their patient is taken care of both before and after surgery. He is simply THE BEST, totally trust him, and wouldn't even THINK of going to any other Doctor!
