I saw Dr Shahin in 2021 when a mass was found on my ovary, I was already struggling with infertility and the thought of losing an ovary was devastating. Dr Shahin was able to remove the mass (which thankfully was non cancerous) without any damage to the ovary or fallopian tube. He was amazing throughout the entire process, and gave me a calming presence and assurance the entire time. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. 6months after my surgery I was blessed to have my little girl and I thank him for that every day.

Dr Shahin is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He is very compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. He made a very stressful situation more bearable especially when hearing a cancer diagnosis.

Dr Shahin is very Thorough and made me confident took his time to explain everything with my upcoming surgery.

Horrible Doctor, no concern for the patient. Does not call back. Cancels appointments with no reason.

I have now heard of multiple stories from families of deceased cancer patients who were under Dr.Shahin’s care who have reported of bad advice and misinformation from Dr.Shahin during their cancer treatment. Things that could have been prevented to prolong or save lives!

Dr Shahin saw me in th er in may and I had my surgery approx 2 weeks later.He and his staff are very knowledgeable and kind. Luckily he also removed my appendix which we discovered had a dangerous tumor in it.I would recommend him 100 percent.Also kudos to the or staff.You don't get to see them very long but they do an excellant job! Dr Shahin saw me before and during my surgery for a large ovarian cyst. He was kind and compassionate and much more then helpful. Having him there during the surgery was very comforting!!

The Hanjani Institute Staff is fantastic! I found Dr. Shahin to be very straight-forward from the first visit. He is extremely intelligent, kind, understanding, and takes time to answer any and all questions. I had a robotic-assisted hysterectomy from Dr. Shahin and was AMAZED at my healing and recovery time! I feel truly BLESSED to have him as my doctor and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of his care!

He is a top notch surgeon. He was excellent. He was kind compassionate and prepared meticulously for my surgery. He gives you his complete time for questions. He is thoughtful above and beyond. He bent over backwards in every way to help me medically, scheduling to see him and in every way. I was in great hands and understand why everyone raves about him. I was scared and I knew he was excellent Id be in good hands. My post op pain management excellent. My recovery extremely fast. He prepared for anything and we had an excellent outcome. His staff is so kind. He truly is outstanding. Im so grateful he was my surgeon. He is also very involved in my post op care. thank you for being my surgeon. Grateful. PS He is funny too! Im not sure if my review was entered correctly! I gave the Dr 5 stars on every item and was beyond thrilled with him as my surgeon. He is excellent .

Dr.Shahin was the last doctor that my mother was placed under before she passed of Cancer, August 2020. What bothered me was the statements made by the doctor which stated that they could help my mother with treatment if she had the proper insurance. Her Insurance had lapsed during covid and We then fought hard to get her Insurance back after she was admitted in June for enlarged tumors. The doctor then waited 3-5 weeks to finally have a date scheduled to start immunotherapy which had a 40% success rate and what we were looking forward too. My mother was 3 days away from that start date when she passed. I wonder how much longer my other would of been alive if her treatment was expedited and started immediately versus waiting 3-5 weeks..

Dr shahin was kind,patient and knowledgeable..I had a complete hysterectomy with no complications. He explained everything In great detail and answered all my questions... I had 100 % confidence in him going into a very scary surgery. I highly recommend him and am grateful I was referred to him

This doctor has no respect for a patient's time. I waited for over two hours with a limp "I am sorry" response. I have the luxury of a sympathetic employer. Many women are one doctor's appointment from losing their job. Couple that with waiting to possibly hear a life changing diagnosis. Unconscionable. The least they could do is let the patient know that the doctor is running behind. Patients should be given the option to reschedule.

Very good doctor, I recommend it. I will be grateful to him all my life.

To get second opinions from other doctors before starting from this place.

For three years, Dr. Shahin has been treating me for a recurrence of ovarian cancer. I had received excellent prior care, but Dr. Shahin is truly outstanding. He is exceptionally well-informed and competent in gynecologic oncology treatment and research, and he directs several experimental trials. Beyond his unmistakeable clinical expertise, Dr. Shahin is kind, warm, and welcoming to his patients and their families.

Excellent Doctor/Surgeon! Took his time with all questions and follow up concerns after surgery. Really cares about you as a person and your health needs! Highly recommended!

Saw him for a consult. He was completely inappropriate. No one should leave a doctor’s office feeling violated! EVER Will never recommend. Will NEVER go there again.

Dr Shahin was recommended to me by my gyno of that time cause he saw something he wanted him to check out. I was diagnosed in 2006 with Vaginal Cancer and was swtreated. I’ve not gone to anyone else because I respect his expertise, value his guidance and treatment and completely trust that he has my best interest at heart! He is a fabulous dx with an excellent staff!

Dr. Shahin is a wonderful Dr. and a very kind man. He performed a complete hysterectomy for me a year ago and it went flawlessly. No problems and I healed very quickly with very minor pain. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for peace of mind. He explains every detail so you understand completely what you are having done. I think he is awesome and so is his staff.

Wonderful, kind, experienced and thoughtful Doctor. I would recommend him to all that I know. Was very comfortable in his presence.

I would highly recommend Dr. Shahin.... Because, he has a strong knowledge base, is caring, and really takes the time to understand his patients' needs. He is a kind individual that wants to make a difference. And he does!!!! From my personal experience - he kept me at ease and well informed. His office staff goes above and beyond and his associate doctors do as well! I would rate him a 10/10!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shahin for his surgical expertise and his compassionate bedside manner. He was completely forthcoming about my Mother's surgery and therapy for ovarian cancer and was very approachable with all our family members.
