Dr. Mark Dillier Rowland

I highly recommend Dr. Rowland. He is professional, caring and very knowledgeable and competent. His office staff, too, are great to work with.

He doesn't explain anything well. Just says everything looks okay. Medications are never updated or entered correctly in the systems. Labwork follow ups are a hassle when you got to call his office every time to remind them to send over the Labwork requests. Doesn't listen to your health complaints. Because everything is always okay.

Dr Rowland is awesome !! It has been a long time since I've had a physician spend as much time as Dr. Rowland did with me.

I had an amazing experience with the office and Dr. Rowland. I had osteomyelitis and he went the extra mile to see me through the right treatments and IV antibiotics so that I would not end up with any more amputations. From the nurses who did my IV's I heard wonderful stories regarding Dr. Rowland's time researching and giving his all to save patients. I am very grateful for this doctor and would send anyone I know who is battling a difficult disease to him. I have had an absolutely horrible experience with this office and I didn't even get as far as getting to an actual visit. I was referred by my general physician. The first time I heard from this place was to let me know that they were cancelling my appointment. ...An appointment I hadn't made and wasn't aware of. They advised that I needed to take the slot open the following Friday to insure that my reference wouldn't be "cancelled". When asked why I hadn't heard from them until this point and how long they give patients to make an appointment before cancelling their reference, the lady said, "I think they throw them in the trash after 30 days." then she put me on hold. This ended up being most of the conversations that we would have. She was extremely rude and completely unsure of anything and everything I would ask. These were simple reception questions, not medical questions. I made the appointment for the following Friday. I faxed the paperwork immediately to them the day we made the appointment so that I wouldn't have to come in an *hour* early before my appointment. I sent an email to confirm with them that they received it. I did not receive a response. The same awful receptionist called me a few days later saying that I needed to send in my paperwork. I told her I faxed it and emailed her confirming. She said that they probably threw it away because I ha cancelled my appointment before. I DID NOT CANCEL ANYTHING. They rescheduled an appointment that I didn't know I had. Also, I hadn't turned the paperwork in until after that so it didn't make sense anyways. She put me on hold for 20 minutes (longer if I wouldn't have hung up). She didn't call back that day. She called a few days later cancelling this 2nd appointment and rescheduling it a month later. She then said that "the doctor is on the other line, hang on." Never came back on the line. I emailed and asked them to have an office manager call me back immediately. 4 days later, I have heard nothing. I called to cancel my appointment. The same lady answered, put me on hold, came back on the line to say "Okay, that's fine." and hung up on me. At this point I am done dealing with them. This doctor could've had an answer for my chronic illness. He probably would've made a lot of money off of the deal too with being a specialist and with all of the testing that would've been done. Instead, his office staff being unable to use basic communication and organizational skills, is probably killing his business. He may not be aware because this woman is very good at not letting you talk to anyone than her.
