Dr. Romer has done a fine job guiding me throughout my cancer journey.

Great care team and staff! Always friendly! When first diagnosed with extensive SCLC the prognosis was poor. With the treatments and consultations I received, I was able to make the right decisions and be here 3 1/2 years later. During my time with Dr Romer I went to "The James" for a second opinion. They told me that based on my chart, they couldn't have done anything differently or better than Dr Romer.

Dr Romer is professional, courteous and thorough. Staff at his facility is knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr Romer and his staff are awesome! Dr. Romer always listens to my concerns and he cares. Thank you Sheila for being so nice!

I have been a patient since 2008, all the staff is wonderful at what they do and very caring. It's always nice to hear the staff greet you by your name and with a smile.

Everyone is kind and the doctors are very caring.

When I first had to see Dr. Romer, I was anxious, undeducated, and conserned. He got me in quickly; educated me and let me ask questions until i was content. Would never go to anyone else. Dr Mark Romer is a very understanding, loving Dr with an excellent personality to match! He is a rare jewel who earnestly care for his patients. Dr Romer MD is a loving, caring Dr that anyone would love. He shows respect and always wear a warm friendly smile. It's a hard job, he does it well, no need for 2nd thought or guessing. It was wonderful to see my case being treated with such urgency. I was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time. I had many questions and concerns not to mention fear of the unknown as well. They got me in for an appointment the very next day first thing in the morning. I was very grateful for this and Dr. Romer understood my situation and did everything he could to help me out. I have been a patient of Dr. Romer for many years and I am always amazed at the amount of time Dr. Romer and his assistant allow for my visit. They always ask about Health and Life Events that may have occurred between visits. The treatment for my condition is controlled via a prescription drug. It took some months to get it adjusted to maintain blood cell levels desired but we got there. My visits now are just to make sure levels remain static. The lab personnel is punctual and check out and scheduling is efficient and accommodating. I'm pleased that my GP referred me to Dr. Romer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999. I saw Dr Romer, received chemotherapy and followed up for the next 10 years with him. It will soon be 22 years since I was first diagnosed. Dr. Romer treated me for a very rare blood disorder several years ago, he is an outstanding physician. After going through several days of tests with no answers, several Drs. with no answers he was called in and diagnosed my case within 30 minutes. I doubt I would have survived had I not had him by my side.

I became a patient of Dr Romer’s in 1998 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He saw me through that ordeal for 5 years & I’ll always appreciate him for that. Fast forward to 2011. Recurrence of breast cancer but only needed a lumpectomy this time. Back to Dr Romer. I am still under his care & I feel very safe under his supervision. He’s not a warm & fuzzy guy but he is a great oncologist

Dr Romer was the on call physician one evening when I had a concern regarding my mother who is a patient of Dr. Shah. I explained the issues and what my question and concern was. His reply was, "I wasn't there. What do you want me to do about it?" I thought this was very rude, not to mention unprofessional. I surely hope he is better with his own personal patients. From this brief encounter, I was NOT impressed and definitely would not recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Romer was wonderful in helping my mother. She came in extremely weak. He got her put into remission. He listened, guided, and was fighting for her. She relapsed shortly after remission, and he did everything he could to find answers and help her. She was too far gone, and she lost her battle. But Dr. Romer was there fighting for her every step of the way. I respect him and truly love him for helping my mother the best he could. ?

Dr. Romer was disappointing. His demeanor is glib and his treatment plans are vague. He discussed nothing about overall wellness plans during treatment. He did not explain to us what to expect. He seemed irritated with our questions so we stopped asking. As a result, we left feeling a bit lost. He did not come across as caring, but rather had a superiority thing going on. Overall, so disappointed. You'd think after practicing for so many years he would be great.
