Mark Edward Rigney

His office staff is kind and caring. Dallas and Summer are always kind and understanding. Appointment scheduling for next visit is a wait even if an established patient (possibly in part to Covid at this point in time, but doesn’t explain pre-Covid wait) Office is as old and outdated as he is. Cracked exam tables, stacks upon stacks of magazines laying on every surface. At first, he was kind of ok. I’ve worked for and had better doctors. His bedside manner, or lack thereof, left much for want. He mentioned at our first visit he was still recovering from a stroke. He once got up in the middle of an appointment to race to the restroom. Another appointment he came in with fresh fecal matter on the outside of his trousers. Two of our visits ended with him screaming (only the first he apologized for) Upon pointing out during our final visit with him his hour plus tardiness at this visit and every visit we’ve been to recently at his office, he then proceeded to yell at me. And proceed to explain his yelling and tardiness away with how much time he’d previously spent working with the patient on another visit which last I checked was his job. With knowledge of a “difficult patient” maybe he should allot a little extra time to accommodate that patient so as to not hinder the schedule of the patients after them. He agreed to fill the medicine for 30 days and dismissed us, and proceeded to walk out. I thanked him and informed him we would not be back upon which he yelled down the hallway “good, I don’t need you to.” Would never recommend him to anyone.

I went to get the results of a m.r.i. that i had done 3wks earlier yhey didn't contact me i had to call them more than once then had to make a appointment to hear what was wrong. The day i went i was feeling ok and wasn't aware of a low fever of 100 he came in after a 1hr wait in the room and started yelling and complaining that u cost him alot of money because he was now going to have the room cleaned. He was hi on something the way he acted and his blowing everything outta proportion was very unnecessary so i fired him on the spot told his son witch is the only person who will work for him that i would return later for my medical records..i wouldn't recommend him to anyone not even to get a bandaid put on... My opinion he has a god complex.. Dr Rigney has disappeared. Patients are up there for their appointments for days. No sign on the door. Anyone know if he’s ok?

This doctor will accuse you of abusing your medication when filled as he's prescribed it then deny you your medication. He doesn't listen to your health concerns but instead calls you a hypochondriac.

Recently seen as a new patient, office staff and Dr.Rigney are both wonderful. He was able to get me in quickly and will now be my primary doctor.

Our family recently switched to Dr. Rigney. In my opinion and based on my experience with many doctors over the years, Dr. Rigney is one that cares and listens to the patients' needs and problems. We are very happy with him and feel that we finally found a doctor who is dedicated to his patients in a very professional way. I strongly recommend him as a family doctor.
