My experience with Dr. Pyles was amazing his nursing staff was excellent, I will recommend Dr. Pyles to anyone who needs surgery

I have been a patient of Dr Pyle for many years. I trust him explicitly for my general surgery needs

Had an appointment. Met with the nurse. Waited over an hour to see the Doctor, but he never showed up, so I left.I can understand if the Doctor had an emergency but in that case the office staff should have asked if I wanted to reschedule rather than arrogantly assuming that the Doctor was Sooooo important and I didn't have anything better to do than wait an indeterminate amount of time to see him. Dr. Pyles in my opinion is one of the only doctor's that will actually treat the problem and the cause anymore. He found my crohn's disease. Stayed with me for a year and a half finding someone to do surgery on my back when nobody else would help due to my young age. When it was time for another back surgery he again helped me. He also saved my life in 2013 when I had listerial food poisoning. He has also helped out my mother when she had a punctured and partially collapsed lung. Dr. Pyles will be missed when he retires by my whole family! Thanks so much for being a great Doc! Dr.Crake is retired!

Dr. Pyles is a no nonsense doc who gets the job done with a minimum of BS. My experience with him was extremely positive on both occasions. He ordered only the necessary tests and performed only the required procedures for ne. Yes, he is direct, and yes, he has a wry sense of humor. As you can tell from his detractors here, he is not a “coddler”. If you want hugs and rainbows, go somewhere else. If you want a doc who is ‘one and done’, this is your guy. Very arrogant! Unprofessional, he asked why I waited so long to make an appointment. My reply was .....on Dr. Pyles site it didn't list my insurance....he started to yell and said he couldn't list every insurance! I never expected that reply or behavior,especially after waiting over an hour and a half in the exam room! Never again!

This doctor needs to retire instead of sending people for tests they don't need so he can make money. His practices are old and I will never send any of more of my patients to him. Please don't risk your health.

If there was a way to leave zero stars, I would. After working with Dr. Pyles for decades, he was the absolute worst Doctor my mother could have had in the last year of her life. He needs serious sensitivity training. After contracting an infection from his surgery, Dr. Pyles replied, "you know you have limited time left on earth, right? So what, you want me to give you antibiotics for your infection? Okay fine, I guess you aren't ready to cash in your chips yet then." I could not stress enough how much of a JERK this man is. I would say Dr. Pyles is the best surgeon ever.

Great Doctor, you're going to have a wait, but we'll worth it, just be warned doc Pyles is very straightforward and to the point so if you can't handle the truth then he's not for you! If you want a good doctor who listens to you and will get the job done ,then I suggest you make an appointment...

I chose Dr. Pyles because I was aware of his excellent previous work. He didn't disappoint when I needed surgery for myself. I trust his expertise implicitly.
