I first met Dr. Ott early on the Saturday morning after I'd been given the tentative (no biopsy at that point yet...only CT) of a significant tumor on my pancreas. Of course, I'd spent most of Friday evening Googling pancreatic cancer and scaring myself to death and had a pretty sleepless night wondering how long I might actually live. On Sat. morning, Dr. Ott called me out of the blue to introduce himself and to tell me that he thought my tumor might be resectable (able to be removed surgically). I consulted with him throughout chemo and radiation and had him perform the Whipple procedure on me last October. It's a MAJOR surgery but Dr. Ott is, IMHO, a rockstar of a surgeon and my recovery has been relatively smooth-going compared to most others I have talked to. I can't thank Dr. Ott enough for reaching out to me at a time when everything looked quite dark and giving me at least some hope for a future. HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs a fantastic surgeon.

The best of what the medical profession means, a caring, highly skilled, extremely responsive man of greatness. We are still going through our ordeal, but I am confident that we have the best possible chance with Dr Ott.

Dr Ott is a superb surgeon and a wonderful caring person. I'm blessed. He was and is a godsend.

Not only is Dr. Ott a highly skilled medical professional, he’s a even better person. He took great care of my wife in a very complicated surgery. We had several doctors turn down this operation and thankfully that lead us to Dr. Ott. He saw us quickly, got into surgery in under 2 weeks. Dr. Ott checked my wife while she was still in the hospital multiple times a day. I don’t think he knows how to take a day off. 7 days a week. I know I’ll be writing his name in on the ballot for president this year. Thank you for everything Dr. Ott and team!! He saved my life when i had colon cancer.

Dr. Ott is a wonderful, caring doctor. If I could give him 100 stars I would.

I can't say enough good about this man. He is caring and kind, highly skilled, respected among his peers, and attentive and honest with my wife and family. I've literally put my life in his hands, and wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone facing similar decisions.

Dr. Ott gave us that peace that we were looking for when my daughter was scared. NEVER in a million years did I expect my 22 daughter to have to have major surgery but if we had to do this all over Dr. Ott would be my 1st choice. It has been over 6 years since my encounter with Dr. Ott with my mother and her cancer. NEVER have I had such a caring, devoted and highly patient oriented physician in my life. He made sure that we did not leave his office or the hospital without the full knowledge of what was going on. I have since recommended so many others to him because I truly believe he is the best. After all these years, I still have high admiration for his practice.

Amazing doctor! I can't say enough good about Dr. Ott. He's a very skilled surgeon who, I believe, saved my life and the most caring attentive doctor. You won't find a better surgeon.

Hands down the very best medical professional we have ever interacted with--no exaggeration. He's gifted, he is so kind and generous with his time. He performed the 6+ hour surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from my wife's pancreas. A year later he continues to guide us through this process.
