Dr.Mendeszoon did surgery on my ankle from an old accident. Promised to cut a lot of my pain and get me back to normal life. MY QUALITY OF LIFE IS WAY WORSE than before he ever touched me. I can’t even walk my dogs anymore nor walk as good as I did before surgery. He invalidated EVERYTHING I told him was hurting after surgery. Got such a bad post op staph infection that my surgical site wouldn’t close for 4 months. Only after going to a wound care clinic did we find out his staff left a large suture in my ankle for 4 months. And besides that, the hardware isn’t fusing my ankle because ITS NOT PLACED CORRECTLY. You also left a screw sticking out past my heal bone that is protruding and cause way more pain. I’m not one to be harsh on surgeons but he really made me a miserable 25 year old who now feels 80. I can’t go a day or an hour without my ankle giving out and life was a lot better before his attempt.

Out of approximately 12 "visits" with Dr. Mendeszoon, I actually saw HIM maybe three times; he seems to travel a lot. Why 12 "visits?" Because I was systematically misdiagnosed and under-cared for. Middlefield office staff are cold, uncaring, and consistently preoccupied with other things. They also seem to both ignore calls and voice messages. Couldn't recommend with a clear conscious.

I had surgery on my ankle. 6/14/22. Every aspect of dealing with doctor mendazoon was a nightmare!

Dr. Mendeszoon is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time to explain things in a language one can understand...not all medical level. He has the caring for his patients, that has been lost over the years. I had foot and ankle surgery and would highly recommend Dr. Mendeszoon and his staff. His staff is just as caring and knowledgeable!

Dr Mendenszoon is simply the VERY BEST!! Very friendly! He listens and he answers your questions. He is very honest. His staff is very friendly also.

My husband, who is 75, slipped on the ice, suffered a fracture and waited two days to go to the ER. The ER physician referred us to Dr. Mendeszoon, who saw us three days later and operated the next day. A month later, on the x-ray we could not see where the fracture had been--just the tiny pins where Dr. Mendeszoon had placed them. I thought it was nothing short of miraculous that Joe could be walking with an ankle brace just a month after a break like that. Dr. Mendeszoon modestly remarked that while he may not be "the best," he tries to do his best each and every time he performs a procedure. We respectfully disagree. He is. The best, that is. Always good to me. Dr. Mendeszoom did both of my ankle surgery. He and his crew were great.

Just had my toenails repaired today and had a great experience! Dr. Mendeszoon is so efficient and caring. The 7th Ave. Surgery Center is very well run and the nurses, anesthesiologist and support staff are the very best as well. My heartfelt thank you to everyone there!!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at. Precision orthopedic. Dr.mendezoon was thorough in his explanation of what was happening and why I was having the pain I had. I’m very happy with his plan of action and look forward to the future and being pain free

Dr Mendeszoon preformed surgery on my son's foot and it became infected with Staph and several other bacteria. So he preformed another surgery to remove the infection that failed and the infection just got worse. He told my wife not to take him to the ER but the foot was looking so bad that we had to rush him to Rainbows Babies and Children's Hospital after the infection started moving up his leg. My son is now fighting what has become MRSA and sepst and may loose his whole foot! He made so many mistakes i don't have room to list them all. Dr Mendeszoon preformed surgery on my sons foot and several days after the foot became infected with several different types of bacteria including MRSA. So Dr. Mendeszoon did another surgery to remove the infection that failed and the infection just got worse. Dr said everything was okay and not to take him to the hospital, and only to call him. But the infection started moving up my sons leg so we had to rush him to Rainbows where he has been fighting the infection for weeks. Now the foot has turned septic and there is a chance he will loose his foot to save his life. Dont trust Dr. Mendeszoon he will lie to save himself!

Very nice guy and straight shooter!

Have known Dr Mark for 7 or 8 years, ever since he fused my left ankle. Recently had two toes fixed. I have total confidence in him and have recommended him to several friends. He's friendly, easy to talk to, knows what he's doing professionally, a real asset to our community.

Dr. Mendeszoon is such a great doctor. He is so personable, pleasant and down to earth. I've been seeing him for over 8 years now. He did both of my surgeries to replace my great toe joints because of arthritis. My husband and I see him for all of our foot problems.

MARK J. MENDESZOON switched orthotic company from Solo to another manufacturer. Went back and forth with issues with new orthotic manufacturer three years ago not fitting properly and they did provide the Solo brand in the end which fixed the issue. Good friend had same issue with same doctor and same change in manufacturer. I asked to get a replacement orthotic three years later and they know the history but will not fill the request to use the Solo brand. This does not serve the patient well and I will not be getting a new orthotic for my back issues now.

I am a professional track and field athlete and had an Achilles procedure and a knee procedure with him and an still competing at the elite level. Not only is he incredibly kind, but he will shoot you straight and doesn’t let the medical system take advantage of you. I couldn’t recommend him enough. 11/10

The absolute best guy to go to if you’re an athlete or just in need of a procedure. Kind, intelligent, and a straight a shooter. Had two procedures with him and turned out fantastic!

Messed up my ankle from a simply surgery. I had horrible pain right after surgery and the staff said he wouldn't see me and if it was that bad to go to the ER. I did and here my skin was burning off from the zinc wrap. The office staff was rude every time! They acted as though you were bothering them. I will never go back!

Dr. Mendeszoon was a good listener and was to the point. Very informative. Gave me several options. Spent as much time as I needed and always addressed every question.

Took them a week to call me just to make an appointment a week away for a follow up to a urgent care visit for a broken bone. Wooooow. Nevermind I'm good

Dr.Dunn is so amazing ! He sits down and explains everything to you and answers every question you may have. I'm so grateful I found out about him and chose him to do my knee replacements.

Dr. Mendeszoon is absolutely fantastic! 30 years of terrible foot pain, 2 planterfasciotomy surgeries ( by another doctor) and seeing at least 6 other doctors and still no relief. I had no hope left. But someone recommended Dr. Mendeszoon, and I decided to try one more time because I was suffering so much. He was the only Doctor, that really sat and listened to my story and heard me! One visit with him changed my life. 30 years of pain, gone! With a different kind of shoe (Altra zero drop) for flat feet and a rubber insert made by sorbothane. Less than $100.00 and my pain is gone for the first time in 30 years. Words can't express how happy I am with my results with only one visit. He really listens and cares. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mendeszoon. You will not be sorry, I can promise you that! Unfortunately our experience was also TERRIBLE. Dr Mendeszoon's bedside manner was arrogant, and I'm surprised he is still in practice after reading some of the reviews. My son needed a set of orthotics, and also a great pair of shoes from "you guessed it"his store! (He left out the part where he owns the store.) My son never received his orthotics after months of disorganization, excuses, and lies from the office staff. Definitely would not recommend!

DR. MENDESZOON IS A#1 DOCTOR. HE IS VERY CARING AND TAKES HIS TIME WITH PATIENTS. THE BEST SURGEON. DR MENDESZOON FIXED BOTH OF MY CHILDREN. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE I MEET. EVERY TIME I CALL AND NEED TO BE SEEN(IN A PINCH) HE GETS ME IN THE SAME DAY.

Dr Mendazoon has done several surgeries on me and saved my foot. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants excellent care

Dr. M preformed surgery on my ankle. It was a complete break requiring several screws, and plates. I had to have a second surgery months later to repair a tendon that had a puncture wound in it. Highly suspect that he caused this, or should have caught this injury from the beginning. Few days after second surgery site became infected. I called the office to see him, wouldn't add me to the schedule even though he was in the office. Went to ER they gave me IV antibiotics. No regard for patients

Recommended that I go to a special shoe store to get a new pair of shoes. Did a little research to find out that the store is owned by none other than Dr. Mendeszoon. Personal gain bias? I think so.

Dr. Mendeszoon treated my daughter as if she was his only patient. He is kind, conscientious, with a sweet bedside manner. Same goes for his staff. The open line of communication was golden, even when we had questions at untimely hours. As a mother of an athlete with a life-changing injury, I am so thankful my daughter's care was in Dr. M's hands.

He was very professional,concerned and very pleasant to speak with. He explained what was the best course of action with my toes due to being a diabetic. Complete trust an faith in the procedure he will be doing on my feet.
