wow, this was recommended to me by singing river as an office that accepts Medicaid and Medicare and on Google it says they accept both when I called the little girl at the desk was laughing and said no they don’t but I could always pay by cash. Not professional and false advertising.

What a waste of time. I learned more from the web. I left feeling like he did not care. I would never go back to him. I have had wonderful urologists before, so I know Lyell does not come close to them.

I waited an hour in the exam room. I had questions about something on my ultrasound and he dismissed my questions. He offered me no answers to my issues except that it wasnt his problem. No direction. No empathy. And he made me feel stupid.

my dad had SEVERAL appointments with Dr Lyell and had to get caths because he was having problems going on his own. After several visits of appointments with the DR and not actually seeing the DR and just seeing the nurse prac, my dad finally asked when he was going to see the actually Dr. The nurse said " oh he's out in the hall, do you want to see him?" Well YES! Dr Lyell then comes in the room with my dad for a quick second and tells him that there is nothing more he can do for him and he will have to do the caths on himself. After 3 MONTHS of my dad having to do this, someone recommended that he go to Dr Owens in Ocean Springs... well after 1 (one week)!!!! my dad was goin on his own. DR LYELL does not care!!!!!!!!!!! If I could leave a minus star I would!

Fantastic physician and understanding. No nonsense.

I have been a patient of Dr Lyell for a year he is a great doctor very professional and cares about his patients.

Top notch physician, very knowledgeable and thorough during my visits. One of the most experienced surgeons in the region, his attention to detail and expertise is world class!

I'm so happy with Dr. Lyell . I saw him in my 20's he told me I would eventually need surgery in the future an he was Wright in my mid 30's I started experiencing what he told me .I had the procedure at a military hospital because that was the available option for me at the time .now I'm in my 50's I'm having the problem he told me about an I'm so excited I had the opportunity to see Dr. Lyell an remind him the advice he gave me in my 20's was acquit . It was nice and relaxed. No pressure just the way a Dr's visit should be.

The staff was excellent and he was able to refer me to Dr Haraway in Jackson,MS.

I would highly recommend this dr to anyone. He is a man of few words but his actions are worth a million words. He makes the best decision for your health and I would go back to him for the rest of my life as my urologist

Dr. Lyell is very informative. He also allows to make informed decisions. Never gives you the feeling of being rushed, although he is quick. Very thorough doctor.

I can highly recommend DR Lyell... He is very professional and his Office is Good. I did not need to wait to see him. The appointment was quick and he gave me time to ask questions and his answers were to my satisfaction. He is a good Doctor.

The entire staff were so rude. When going into surgery there is a certain comforting you would like. Got attitude when first walked in asked the one nice lady if I had inconvenienced them or something having surgery. The nurse that took me back was so rude and just an utter cold wench to my friend that was driving me. Dr. Lyell was short and didn't want to answer questions before surgery and never came to see after surgery. The guy administering the oxygen shoved mask as to suffocate one.

Dr. Lyell is a good doctor but his staff is terrible. This is NOT the first time we have had problems. When I call to schedule an appointment and I am told orders for a PSA will be sent in. In the past three times to get the PSA, the orders have not been sent in. And now prescription orders are not being sent to the pharmacy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHYSICIAN BECAUSE OF HIS STAFF.
