About Dr. Mark Lowry III
Reviews for Dr. Mark Lowry III
He is a very nice doctor. He listens and answers your questions. He is great with children. His staff is wonderful.
Dr Lowry has seen my boys from the time they were born and they are now 17 and 12. He has been wonderful! When there’s been times they had to see another Dr they did not like it, they wanted Dr Lowry. I would not take them anywhere else!
Dr. Lowry is such an amazing doctor. That takes your child’s care personally and want what’s absolute best for them. He personally talks to your child about their favorite subject in school. How they’re doing in sports or other things they’re interested in. He keeps them calm when they’re due for an shot. My child would always freak when she was due for one. First time when seen him, she was due. He got her through like a champ. When I was thinking to myself, this isn’t going to be pretty. Dr. Lowry takes his time and isn’t rushing you out the door. It’s very hard to find a good dr these days to take your health personally. That only wants best. I was worried when we had to change drs again. Yet, I am so glad that it did happen. I’d advice you to make him your child’s dr. I really don’t feel like you will be disappointed with that decision. Dr. Lowry is such an amazing doctor. Dr. Lowry was an absolute angel! My daughter had an allergic reaction to a food, and our pediatrician was not in. Latoya his receptionist was so sweet and caring through my distraught requests for help! She got us ion we schedule and from the moment we walked in the door we felt understood, and knew we were in capable hands. Dr. Lowry listened, he was thorough with his evaluation and notes, he was so sweet and gentle with our baby! He gave us great care instructions to go home with and helped us get in with an allergist. His nurses and assistants were top notch! Helping carry my car seat because my hands were full, making an appointment for us, just everything was perfect! My little girl had started seeing him because he was the on call doctor.. his behavior with me was ok.. well, I realized something wasn’t right with her breathing he even listened to her, said oh it’s just a new environment... repeatedly I kept bringing up the concern of her breathing over and over.. He was concerned about her weight and told me to feed her till she basically vomits because however much she takes if it’s too much she’ll just throw it up, my baby got real sick I took her to him again and he claimed at two months old she was teething and it was just a cold.. I decided enough was enough and took her to another doctor. Come to find out my poor babe had pneumonia, not only that, but now the “it’s just a new environment” has leased up to her having surgery because tissue is blocking her air way and she has tracheomalacia and laryngomalacia.. I could have lost my baby over this. Called to reach the on call pediatrician and was called back by Dr. Lowery. Was explaining the high grade fever my 11 month old had and asked if we should take him to the ER. He was extremely rude and dismissive stating that a fever won’t hurt a child, and not to take him to the ER unless there’s another symptom. I began to ask another question and he cut me off, repeated his answer from before, and proceeded to hang up on me. The rudest doctor I’ve ever spoke to in my life and I wouldn’t recommend anyone trusting their child with his care. According to another employee, this is a common complaint about him. Both my kids doctor. Always very informative and caring!!
Dr. Lowry is a great and compassionate doctor. He's been the pediatrician to my children for over 4yrs now after I read raving reviews from an ISO post on Facebook. From the first visit, he's been nothing but amazing. Him and his staff do their best to prevent unnecessary visitd and give great advice over the phone and just as great when I do have to take my kids in for an appointment. My kids arent afraid of their doctor like I was as a child, because everyone does their best to make it a positive experience for them. I would highly recommend him and his staff. Extremely rude when on call. Dismissed my questions and hung up on me when I was still concerned.

Horrible dr to deal with. Long story short, I called my regular dr and was connected with this man as the on call for the evening. My 3 year old son had just came home from eating Taco Bell and drinking a Starburst Strawberry Slush. He was asleep in the car when we got home so he went straight into pajamas (no sign of illness) and to bed. 15 mins later he’s vomiting all over his bed, with a welted rash on his cheeks and stomach. Some blotches on his arm. My husband bathes him quickly to remove the vomit and I call this unprofessional. I give him the details and ask what I should do and he told me to give him a bath and put him back to bed. I said “do you not think he’s allergic to something, should I try Benedrly and what dosage should I use?” Should he sleep without me knowing the allergy? He replied to make him go back to bed. I hung up. Never again will I take his horrible advice. He’s a pathetic excuse for a physician much less a pediatric one. I followed my mother instinct instead.

I wish I couldn’t even give him one star after how he spoke to me. I called and asked to speak to anyone on call and a lady transferred me to him and I said “I have an 8 month old daughter and she’s puking a lot & getting choked & she had shots today. What do I need to do?” & he was like “uhh you clearly need to take her to er” I tried to ask if this was something that would just pass and part of the side effects and he talked down to me like I was stupid so I asked again and was like “is there anything I can do for her right now to comfort her?” & he was like “um yeah, take her to the er.” I hung up. I highly don’t recommend him to anyone. Dr. Foster is the only doctor I will ever take my daughter too. I wish I couldn’t even give him one star after how he spoke to me. Not a professional doctor at all. Called to make sure I was giving my baby the right dosage because she’s not even 2 and he said to do the math on the chart. Guess he didn’t even know himself. Completely short and hateful. Was the doctor on call and will never be ask to be called back by him again. So glad our doctor is caring and doesn’t talk to you like you’re a complete moron. Doctor Lowry had been my daughter's doctor since birth. He has always been patient, a good listener, and an all around marvelous pediatrician. I can't imagine taking my daughter to anyone else.

Absolutely awful. Our regular Dr., who we love, was out of the office so we were connected with the person who was "On Call". This individual is rude and condescending. When I had a simple question (which was later validated as a "good question") he spoke over me while I was talking, repeatedly said "no, no, no, no, no" and then tried to intimidate me by listing every virus in the medical dictionary. His lack of professionalism is totally unacceptable. Shame on this person.
Worst doctor ever !!!!!!!!!

Dr. Lowry takes his time with you, instead of the in and out I have had to deal with in other dr offices. My son has a complex med history and Dr. Lowry takes the time to make sure he is up to date on everything his other docs are doing so that he can get the best care possible. Dr. Lowry makes sure you understand what is causing your child's illness and explains things in a manner you can understand, drawing pics if needed. I am so sad we had to move and can no longer see him.
