About Dr. Mark Lazarovich
Reviews for Dr. Mark Lazarovich
Do not expect time or interest in your concerns by this person- I really don't think he deserves to even be called a doctor. Within 30 seconds of my appointment he had a final assessment without even a single question asked or examination made. He's condescending and acts like he doesn't even feel he should put any effort whatsoever into his patient's care. How he still is in practice is a mystery! STAY AWAY!
Mark Lazarovich is extremely rude, with no bedside manners. He is extremely overstated in his profession by any other doctor, and admitted so, stating that he is "Not a specialist." Worst doctor experience in years.
I had been struggling with hives when I was hot or stressed. He knew exactly what it was, didn't think I was making it up. We got the prescription dialed in and now I wonder why I hadn't gone to him sooner. Just a doctor, getting the job done. If that is what matters to you, he is your guy.
I saw him about a year ago ... It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Rude and condescending doesn't even cover it. Whoever is reading this, all I can say is please don't go to him unless you enjoy being made fun of and belittled. He actually laughed at me. Then the second time I went he refused to see me because I asked the nurse to test my temperature (for covid) on my wrist... It comes out the exact same and they know it. They made such a big deal out of it and this doctor came over to me and in front of the entire staff and patients began to yell at me. I said I am not refusing to take my temp, just asking if they can take it on my wrist instead of pointing it between my eyes. He left and refused to see me. They should fire him as they are loosing business because of him. The rudest doctor ever.!
Really bad experience - they had very bad patient relation skills. They did not treat me with respect or communicate well--treated me like an imbecile and I felt like someone in an interrogation room at times. They did not explain what they were going to do, did not seem to have my medical history despite a UVM Medical Center affiliation, let me wait without explanations, kept changing the plan of what they were going to do (three times), tested my back with 48 allergy punctures, after telling me first that they only wanted to treat me at two sites. I had to ask to see the doctor. He was arrogant, spent minimal time with me, and didn't respect my questions. No one gave me any report about my allergies. Their only advice was to take medication I was already taking. No other behavior changes or coping strategies were suggested.
My appointment with Dr. Lazarovich was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He was patronizing, rude, and abrasive. When I said that I hadn't received a letter in the mail with instructions for the visit, he refused to believe me. Another equally rude employee (nurse, assistant, not sure...) did a breathing test. When Dr. Lazarovich came in to review my results, he said "I couldn't beleive this was your test. This was much worse than I thought." Truthfully, I had never done this kind of test and I'm not confident that results were correct. Instead of going back and doing it again himself, he continued to inform me of my dire condition (never been diagnosed with asthma before) and said that, "There was probably no permanent damage." He then gave me prescriptions for 4 medications that he said I needed to start taking right away without giving me much of an overview on these medications. Needless to say, I am looking for a new allergist.
We saw Dr Lazarovich. He was extremely rude. So was his staff. The nurse that took my weight and height didn't smile or ask how I was or anything. She wasn't friendly, at all. She seemed miserable to be there and miserable that she had to do her job. My wife was kicked out of the office because our child coughed once. Absolutely ridiculous. It wasn't like a, hey could you step out for a min. It was more of a, you need to leave right now. I would suggest going somewhere else for your allergy needs, or see literally any other Dr. He was the biggest jerk. We saw Dr Lazarovich. He was extremely rude. So was his staff. I had been a patient of Timberlane since the 1980's and although I had not been for about 12yrs because of insurance issues and I was taking care of my allergies, Dr Lazarovich didn't bother to review my previous records. He was the last Dr to see me but never read those records. He refused to provide allergy testing as I might be allergic to ingredients in the COVID vaccines. Instead stated, either I would have a reaction or I wouldn't! Very cavalier and dismissive of my concern. He even laughed when he said I should talk to him if I had a reaction to the vaccine, then went serious and said, we would really need to talk then. He had made his decision about not testing me before he talked to me. Said he would tell a 16yr old with my history not to have the vaccine but that I should (I'm 64yrs.) He did finally ask some other questions but even stated that my previous allergy tests probably had false/positives and my anaphylactic episodes were not anaphylaxis!
He was dismissive of my concerns. Refused to provide a test to ingredients in the COVID vaccines. Previous doctors have stated I can not have vaccines so I wanted to be tested. He stated I did not have anaphylaxis when I had numerous ER visits for anaphylaxis. I have been a patient of Timberlane since Dr Wright was there in the 1980's and was never treated so poorly. He even questioned the testing done by Dr Wright as I may have had false/positives. Worst visit ever!
This doctor is more concerned with being right than being helpful. From the moment he walked in he seemed annoyed. His tone throughout my appointment was very condescending and admonishing. After my appointment I learned that he is well known for this attitude. It would be worth a long drive to Dartmouth or elsewhere to avoid this experience.
I hadn't felt good in years and Dr. Lazarovich helped me breathe again. He's terrific!
I saw Dr Lazarovich after 8 years of increasing problems and loss of quality of life due to what turned out to be atypical migraines. I had repeatedly seen my GP and several ENT’s at UVM Medical Center and was told there was nothing wrong with me. These atypical migraines manifest as chronic post-nasal drip, earaches, jaw pain, neck pain, sinus pain and feelings of having allergic reactions in my eyes. Dr Lazarovich allergy tested me and then told me I didn’t have allergies, I had migraines and I needed to see a neurologist. I’ve since done so, have been on Botox injections and Aimovig for the migraines and have my life back. No one else listened to me like he did. Thank you, Dr. Lazarovich!!! I guess what comes across as abrasive to others felt like honest and businesslike to me. It’s the nature of allergies and immune responses to be complicated and not just due to one thing. It would be exorbitantly expensive and not necessary to trace every allergen and every response in order to treat allergic reactions. It’s the kind of problem that can be treated with state of the art medical care and still not be symptom free. Maybe someday but not yet. I love it when a professional says “I don’t know”. Beware the quacks who know everything.
I’ve never been so frustrated and angry with a doctor before. I told Dr. Lazarovich that I had allergies for 32 years and had allergy shots for 5 years that worked well but had stopped helping after not getting them for 5 years. He replied that he’d do testing, but “not to be surprised if they don’t find anything.” He seemed surprised that the testing showed so many allergies, as if I’d been making it up or something. Then he asked when my allergies were worst. When I said they were always bad, he insisted I pick a month. It was absurd - I made it clear that there wasn’t a month when they were worse, and he wouldn’t go on until I picked one. I will never see him again, and now I’m stuck paying for allergy testing that could be inaccurate because of his absurd doubt and insistence that I randomly pick a month. I wish I’d read reviews of him before I saw him, as my experience seems to be common with his patients.

Wow, wish I had read these reviews before I visited this office. This was possibly the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. Lazarovich seemed like he was barely paying attention to my concerns and offered me no positive ideas on my condition. I think the whole visit might have lasted less than ten minutes with virtually all the dialogue coming from me. Lazarovich only provided terse, answers that lacked any patient concern or compassion. All he had to offer was “take drugs”. I have a longer medical history than most folks and already have to take several prescriptions so I’m not keen on adding to the cocktail frivolously. Can I have my copay back? Complete waste of my time.

Condescending, rude and continually interjected while I attempted to answer his questions. He wouldn't disclose what he was doing during the procedure and he stated he didn't know what was wrong with me nor what I was allergic to. When we discussed treatment he only told me the method of delivery of prescriptions, not the medications themselves and laughed at the amount of prescriptions he was prescribing. When I raised concern about one of the prescriptions he told me to find a new doctor.
Dr Lazarovich didn't even look at my chart before meeting with me, although he had seen me six months earlier for a related concern. He was about to order allergy testing and then he looked at my chart and saw that this had been done six months ago. A week later he called in a subscription to my pharmacy without telling me that he had done so. I learned of this by chance when I went to the pharmacy for a different script.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Lazarovich. He was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and he really took the time to explain everything to me. It was one of the most positive experiences that I have had with a doctor. I felt like he truly cared about me, my health, and my quality of life. I have total faith in him and my treatment.

Recommended by my primary doctor. Worst experience ever. Not friendly and very abrasive. Every time I tried to talk about health issues, he was quick to dismiss them. Told me I was "overreacting" to abnormal blood work. Dismissed my doc & her remedies because she's integrated health. Told me to "just lose weight". Frustration/anxiety took over, I broke down crying. He did nothing but stare at me & kept drilling me w/ questions. Finally his assistant handed me a box of tissues. Will NOT return.
Simply the rudest, least professional doctor I've ever seen. I have a great rapport with my family doctor and others I have seen but this guy, does not listen to what you tell him about your condition and has no solutions. When he asked me to explain my symptoms, before I finished my sentence he interrupted me and said "OK That's all I need". Somehow his rude, pompous and dismissive behavior carries to his staff.
Brought my daughter after a referral from my pediatrician. I found him to be the most condescending Doctor I have ever met. It was a brief visit as a he didn't care to explain the results and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. It's sad we pay premium money for Doctor visits to be treated like this! However, the nurse who actually performed the test was lovely and nice.

Horrible experience. Refused to tell me what I was allergic too, just said that I'm allergic to a little bit of everything, completely disregarded my general practitioner as she's a naturopath. Disregarded my needs of wanting to discuss immune therapy to try to get off some of the meds I'm on and instead tried to tell me I need to be on meds that could enhance my anxiety disorder and cause asthma related death. Nurse and registration staff seemed uncaring and unfriendly too.
I have cancelled my follow-up visit with Dr. Lazarovich. He didn't believe I had an allergic reaction to something, after I had an anaphylactic reaction to it. He wanted me to prove him wrong. I did not go there to try to prove a doctor wrong, but rather for help identifying what the root cause was. In the end, I did prove him wrong. He also wouldn't do any further tests, so I didn't end up determining what truly caused my reaction. I didn't feel respected by he or his assistant.

The doctor made a decision about my condition before even meeting with me. He refused to do allergy testing even when referred by another doctor. He was condescending and rude. Wait times were long.
