I have a medical background, being a OR nurse for 20 years. So I think I have a little more insight to qualities of a excellent surgeon. Dr. Kayanja did a decompression, lumbar spine fusion on me Dec. 27, 2022. The results are great and I believe a complete success. I feel better than I have in years and am able to do so many things in this short period of time that have caused so much pain in the past. I believe my quality of life has improved so much. Dr. Kayanja is a caring skilled physician that listens to your concerns and take them to heart. He decides the best way to help you and then does it. I had spinal fusion surgery for my scoliosis with Dr. Kayanja and couldn’t have had a better experience. His bedside manner is unmatched- makes you feel so comfortable and encouraged through the entire process. And his surgery skills are even better. I’m 6 weeks post op and feel better than ever. Dr. Kayanja focuses on minor details just as much as the major ones! If you’re looking for a back doctor he is the one!!
