Dr. Mark Gordon Gilchrist

After being a patient here myself during my childhood, I now take my 3 children here. We’ve been at this practice for well over 15 years and have nothing but great things to say! The nurses are so welcoming and excited to see the children when they walk in! We always get same day sick appointments. Every Doctor at this practice goes above and beyond! I would never go anywhere else!

Dr Gilchrist and his staff are not flexible. It feels like they put their needs and their schedules first. The receptionists always sound annoyed when they pick up the phone. My child was so anxious coming here. Just not a welcoming environment for a child.

Dr. Gilchrist is a fantastic pediatrician.

Have had nothing but amazing interactions with everyone at this office. Not only is everyone super bubbly, they take us right on time, and they have even stayed open late in order for us to get there to check out our son when we had a concern.

I've brought my kids to this practice for years, but have twice been refused referrals to Children's Hospital even though it is in network for my health plan. Apparently they are "in a contract" with Tufts Floating and LGH exclusively. My son's neurologist since he was a toddler is at Children's, and my son possibly has a tumor in his eye that needs testing and his eye doc wanted him to go to Children's, so I do NOT understand how my PCP's "preference" trumps all that. This refusal to give the referral has now delayed my son's diagnosis possibly weeks more. Unacceptable.
