Dr,Gallagher is the best doctor I have had,my mother had breast cancer,and he opperated on her and saved her,I had colon cancer in2014, he took all the cancer out,and saved my life.very good sergeant,I would recommend him over and over,.I think he's retired now,but again,a very good sergeant

I went to the ER in East Tawas with severe stomach pain.and had an emergency appendectomy by Dr. Gallagher . Spent the night and went home the next day . No problems at all .

If you like not meeting your doctor until 5 minutes before your procedure, then this is the office for you. Be prepared for a brusque, rushed egotistical doctor who seems too busy to spend a moment's time with you prior to the procedure (yes, those 5 minutes are all the time this guy appears to want to spend with you). He has his associates do the intake--which is about 20 minutes and then on the day of the procedure, you are laying about waiting to meet the person who is performing the procedure and he breezes in just before it happens--after you've been somewhat sedated. Good time for answering questions of the doctor (not). Then, be prepared for after the procedure for him to come out to the center of the waiting room and announced WHY YOUR HUSBAND'S PROCEDURE TOOK SO LONG. IT'S BECAUSE HE HAS A LOT OF FECAL MATERIAL IN HIS COLON AND IBS. THAT'S WHY. SEE! HERE ARE THE PICTURES! As he waves them in front of your face in front of other people. Hate to tell you this, 'doctor,' but my husband is a surgical nurse and the amount of material in the photos you so unceremoniously and publicly waved in my face is NORMAL for that type of procedure--that's why you, the 'doctor' and support staff have irrigators to assist in clearing it out. To announce this information in a lobby -- not taking me into a private consult room is a huge violation of my/my husband's privacy and totally unethical on your part. Also, 'doctor,' my husband went into the office for a PREVENTIVE service, not a DIAGNOSTIC. He was asymptomatic and went in for a preventive check. The fact that you found and removed polyps is secondary to the reason he went in. It should be billed as preventive with a surgical removal of polyps. The fact that you denied your public humilation of me and my husband to my insurance company is proof positive that you should be reprimanded. You lied to my insurance company. I definitely will be taking this further. Straighten up, 'doctor.' You need to give us an apology and correct your billing fraud.
