I was very happy with the outcome of my surgery. The other comments about the Dr being rude were not my experience. I felt that I was treated with compassion, and I was not at all pressured into surgery. Scar was good, recovery very good, long term recovery good as well. The results have worked pretty well for me.

I’ve waited awhile before this review because I was going to sue. I didn’t because the hospital gave me a refund (not Dr. Fulton) I has surgery to fuse c5 and c6. I was told that the scar would be small and NOT right in front of my neck. Not only is the scar UGLY and needing plastic surgery to fix but he also hit a nerve giving me horners syndrome which gave me a droopy eye. The doctor never even checked on me while I was in the hospital post surgery. I’d never had part of my face droop and I thought I had a stroke. He never even followed up or apologized for anything. The next morning in the hospital, after zero sleep, I wanted to leave to get proper care and he was nothing but rude and disrespectful. I am still dealing with all this and it’s been YEARS! I drove by his office the other day and just cried. I’m sorry I had this surgery and won’t ever see this doctor ever again. I see the jagged scar on my neck every day and it makes me sad. I have been down for 5 days because of a torn disc, I could have been down for only 2. Was told to go to ER or urgent care because it was inappropriate to call a neurosurgeon for care that my Dr had already agreed to, but this almighty and powerful neurosurgeon was on call. My first visit to see Dr Mark Fulton was not good at all! I waited 2 1/2 hours before I was seen and when Dr Mark Fulton finally came into the room I felt rushed and and I was unable to get all of my questions asked. I just recently had an appointment with him thinking and hoping that things might go better this time based on my last visit as they knew I was unhappy. However, things got worse as I waited an hour and 50 minutes. He was rude and the treatment that I received from him I found to be completely unacceptable. He stated that he didn’t want to treat me as I had seen other physicians before I was even able to tell him why I was there! I was shocked by his behavior to say the least. I stated that I waited an hour and 50 minutes to be attacked like this? He said “So what, that’s nothing”. I then reminded him that I waited 2 1/2 hours on my first visit only to be rushed out of there. He then responded “too bad ????”. He treated me like I had the plague as I could not believe the things that he was saying. He was absolutely and positively unprofessional and rude. If he was the last surgeon on this earth I would do without. I will never ever recommend this physician to anyone and further more I’m going to file a complaint to the American Medical Association. Best most astute Dr. I have ever encountered, especially under the pressure of brain surgery!Dr Fulton saved my family member! Highly recommend Dr. Fulton.

Dr Fulton installed a shunt for normal pressure hydrocephalus in my husband who is now doing so much better than before. Dr and staff were all professional and caring ! We are very grateful for their help.

I will continue to thank DR.Fulton for listening to me and taking me seriously. I seen many neurologist and eye doctors, but it was the ER that took me serious and referred me to neurosurgeon. He took the time to explain to me in great details of my concerns. His staff is so pleasant. Trish and PA Kristen was right there by my side for my LP. I’m happy to have him to preform my surgery. Was extremely rude to my brother because he was angry another doctor. This shouldn’t have stopped him from providing the best care possible, including treating his patient with kindness.

Dr. M .Fulton clipped an aneurysm in the brain several years ago. Was up and about 5 days later working on my computer. No problems at all since. I highly recommend him.

What a lucky guy I am. Dr Fulton was on call the weekend I had spinal stroke..The team took me directly from emergency room to MRI. Dr Fulton did his magic properly read MRI immediate surgery. He removed blood clot that could easily caused me to completely paralyzed. Ten days later doing great with all limbs functioning. Stitches back of neck taken out..The whole team at Health First just a class act..Dr Fulton just great and caring surgeon..

Dr. Mark Fulton performed brain surgery May 2013 to insert permanent shunt, draining excess spinal fluid that had been collecting for years. I was stumbling and falling for a few months, W/horrific pressure behind eyes. Upon an appointment W/Neurologist, scan confirmed my condition. Dr. Fulton is brilliant, while a caring physician; have not incurred any complications since surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Fulton; HRMC is the best medical facility. Diane N-S Rockledge, FL

He is a qualified doctor, however the wait times are ridiculous. I have currently been waiting for over an hour, and last time I waited two. I am on my lunch break so I do not appreciate being scheduled at a certain time and then having to wait an hour. That is rude and unprofessional, like the staff in the office. They are very rude and unwilling or unable to answer a majority of questions

I had my 3rd. surgery with Dr. Fulton last week. I have complete confidence in his ability. Dr. Fulton is caring, informative, kind, patient and most importantly he LISTENS. His staff is also absolutely WONDERFUL! The front office is equally kind and helpful and go above and beyknd to accomadate your needs. Terri his nurse is SPECTACULAR. I have never called to the office and not directly spoke with her or had a timely call back. Terri has even made calls to me at 8 p.m. from the office.

His nurse Terry is very kind and welcoming. Dr Fulton told us to ask any questions we had, he answered all of them, he's calm and intelligent, while also friendly. The original appt took a few months to make but it was around Christmas time, the follow up was about 3 weeks later. My family felt very assured after the appt. He saw my adult son and I'd recommend him to others. He did not push any unnecessary procedures. He spent time with us as needed and did not rush us.
