Dr. Mark Dreyer was an absolute Godsend. I had an toe ulcer that would not heal and other doctors prolonged the issue for a year until there was a crisis. Upon going to Dr Dryer he knew exactly the right thing within minutes. A few months later I walk without pain for the first time in years. He is superb. Run don’t walk to his office…???? if you want to be healed properly!

Staff is very unprofessional. Tried to change an appointment and no one answers the phone. Tried to change on-line by booking a new one and on one called me back. Left 2 messages w/answering service. It shouldn't be this difficult to change an appointment. Today I finally got through on the phone - just tried to explain what happened to help them remedy this and was hung up on! Dr. Dreyer was very helpful in researching what might be going on with my lower legs. He went above and beyond to reach out to other Doctors in other fields to get answers. He is very thorough. I have never had a Doctor make a phone call and talk to me personally. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a Podiatrist!

Dr. Dreyer is a wonderful personable and very helpful foot doctor. I can to him because I wanted a second opinion as another Doc had said I might need surgery. Dr. Dreyer and I shared a desire to avoid surgery and do a more conservative treatment to relieve pain and get me walking again. He gave me a cortisone shot and within 3 days I was back on my feet. Dr Mark Dryer was extremely helpful to me. I injured my foot while riding my bike. He determined that I had ruptured a tendon and took the necessary measures to get me up and going again. His friendly and professional manner sets your mind at ease. I would recommend Dr Mark should encounter ant type of foot or ankle problem.

I had been nursing a badly infected ingrown toenail for over 2 weeks, then went to Urgent Care to see what they could do. They put me on a 7-day course of antibiotics and recommended that I see a podiatrist. Since I belong to the IMG physicians’ group, I looked for an appointment with one of theirs. An appointment was set for one week later. Perfect timing!! That was my last day of taking the antibiotic and Dr. Dreyer couldn’t be happier. This young man certainly knows what he’s doing! Numbed my foot, then numbed the toe, then proceeded to remove the ingrown edge of the nail and used an acid treatment to make sure that portion of my nail never grows back again. Never felt any of it. Had a couple of days of minor throbbing but, after that, all the pain I had been having was gone. Although my toe looked a bit ugly from the acid treatment, in three weeks it was totally healed. I would voluntarily go back to see Dr. Dreyer for any foot problems I may have in the future. I saw Dr. Dreyer for plantar fasciitis. He explained what he was doing as he went along and provided literature and gave suggestions as to what I could do at home. He answered all my questions and didn't rush. I would recommend him to friends.

Dr. Dreyer performed a Trans-Metatarsal Amputation on my father. This was a challenging procedure given my father's condition. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Dreyer was professional, understanding, and always available through the entire process from diagnosis thru recovery.

I had difficulty walking due to pain in my left foot caused by a callus .two previous dpm had shaved it off which gave me only temporary relief over 3 years period after visiting dr dryer I am now pain free for 3 weeks after he cut the core out I am very very grateful this is the longest I have been pain free in 3 years

Every time I seen the doctor and they was amputated my toes I finally got to see doctor dryer he sent me to hyperbaric chambers and done skin graft to my big toe I did not lose it thanks to him him his team are amazing group of doctors thank you for everything you've done for me

From May 16- Apr18, I suffered from planter fasciitis in both my left and right foot while serving as a pilot on active duty. Dr Dreyer, then a LT who was serving at Naval Base Newport, helped me with a series of progressively intensifying regimes that helped lead to a life free of pain in my feet. He started with stretching & exercise, transitioned to shots, and ultimately performed two Topaz procedures, one on my right and a month later on my left, on my feet. I can't believe I waited so long and suffered through so much foot pain. Dr. Dreyer did an amazing job. Within three to four days of treatment it was as if 25 years had been erased and I'm now able to mountain bike and pedal kayak with no pain. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Dreyer took care of me in 2017 when I was a student at the US Naval War College. As a practitioner he is an active listener, focused on the patients needs, yet listening to what the patient wants actually wants as well. My outcome was the product of excellent pre-operative planning, superb intraoperative skill and consistent post-op follow up. As a person over 70 with a broken ankle from a bike fall, I was anxious about any repair and how that could affect my lifestyle. Dr. Dreyer met me at the hospital in Naples and talked me through the surgical process that would be used to put the ankle back together and let me know what I could expect afterwards. It has been a great experience. I was recommended by Dr Kelley (Rheumatologist} and within 3 months my feet have had significant improvement. I could only walk about 1/2 mile with a 10 level pain in both feet. Now I can walk for an hour with very little pain. Dr Dreyer knows what to do to help.

I just wanted to share my experience that I had with this Dr. today. I arrived and did not have to wait a long time, the girls at the front desk were very amicable, so was the Dr's Assistant, and the X-ray tech. When the Dr. entered the room he was extremely nice and amicable and explained everything to me what was wrong, the x-ray's and what my insurance would cover. What he would do and could not do because of my ins. He was very concerned because I was in pain and also because he was worried that my problem does cause a lot of pain so he will try very hard to help me with my problem. I had seen Dr Dreyer for a bit of a complicated problem, one that didn't have a clear cut amount of symptoms. He was very patient and listened to me. Today was my second visit with Dr. M Dreyer, and it was as wonderful as the first! The location at Lakewood Ranch was clean, and the staff welcoming. Dr. Dreyer's assistant (name escapes me) is courteous, as well as compassionate, at my first visit she held my hand, with gloves on of course, while Dr. Dreyer, expertly and painlessly gave me a cortisone shot in the side of my left foot, needless to say it was just what I needed. My only wish is that I would have come to his office first. When I came back today Dr. Dreyer was able to actually touch my left foot without me flinching in pain. His diagnosis was spot on, and the shot was just what I needed. I would highly recommended that anyone with foot issues make an appointment with his office either in Lakewood Ranch or in Sarasota. Dr. Dreyer has been helping me through a fractured foot. He has been extremely clear with specifics on what happened to my foot and what I need to do to heal. The process has gone very smoothly. He is very knowledgable - I would highly recommend him.

I recently had a bunion correction done by Dr Dreyer in the Intercostal Medical Group surgery center. The surgery went very well. Post op recovery was so much better than I had anticipated. Three month after surgery I am walking, biking and  dancing.  I am pleased to have him as my doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Dreyer for a wound on my leg that wouldn't heal after a skin cancer removal. The wound was over 2 months old and the dermatologist had seen very little improvement. He referred me to Dr. Dreyer and I'm happy to say that 4 weeks later we are almost at the end of the road. He is using the PICO system which is painless, only requires changing of the bandage once a week and in my case was covered by my insurance. The experience has been very good. Dr. Dreyer has a great bedside manner - personable, empathetic and kind. The facilities are immaculate and designed to make you feel comfortable, even amid the pandemic. Had two diabetic ulcers on my toe on the left foot. Dr. Dryer was amazing in his treatment and both are now healed. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable and always maintained a positive attitude. I would highly recommend him for podiatry issues.

He gave me a couple extra options that were not previously offered (by the other physician). I opted for cortisone injections which were absolutely painless - except for some discomfort of him opening the joint to properly locate the needles. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Dreyer. I had to get a screw put into my foot due to an injury. He was very professional, friendly and thorough. I had a long healing process and I am glad I had Dr. Dreyer as my Doctor. He made my experience as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances. I highly recommend him!

I've been seeing Dr. Dreyer for arthritis on the top of my feet. I am so impressed with how much he genuinely cares for his patients. You aren't rushed out of his office like some doctors. Dr. Mark Dreyer has an incredible bedside manner! He takes the time to answer my questions and thoroughly explains the cause of my foot pain and how to best address the problem. He understands that I'm not one to rush to surgery, therefore he's provided me with alternatives such as steroid injections and recommendations for appropriate footwear and orthotics until I feel ready for something more invasive.
