Staff is very helpful and patient. They all have a very calming manner and are reassuring and willing to answer any questions. I like how they explain all the steps to the procedure before they begin. Dr Douglas has a warm and caring manner that helps me have a lot of trust in his abilities. I have seen a different Dr about my issue and Dr Douglas and his staff far surpasses the other experience.

Dr. Douglas is a knowledgeable and a very kind. I trust him.

Dr. Douglas is the best ! He is a very thorough and thoughtful doctor who really cares about his patients. He has performed surgery on me and the results were excellent. His care afterwards is also comforting and reassuring. Dr Douglas is not only my physician I consider him a good friend. Highly recommended.

Dr Douglas spends so much time explaining my condition to me in such a way that a lay person can understand it. His note taking is exemplary!!

This is the best damn eye doctor east of the Mississippi. Probably. I mean, I only saw him the one time, but my eyes still work and I left feeling like they will probably continue to work, so I figure he must be doing something right.

Instills confidence and comfort as soon as he walks in the room. His spirit is uplifting and his knowledge in his field is undeniable. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Douglas on 1st visit had excellent command and effective communication to me of my eye problem. He planned for further testing after his initail exam and gave me a clear treatment plan which gave me relief and satisfaction as a patient... Pleased!

He’s amazing! He saved my eyesight in my left eye and I will always be indebted to him. His bedside manner reassured you and calmed your anxiety making you feel like you’re his only patient. I appreciate his follow-up to ensure you are healing and no issues.

Great doctor office

Dr Douglas was timely and professional.

Performed lazer surgery on my left eye. My vision improved even more than I expected. Additionally his explanations of the process was much appreciated!.

Quick, complete and courteous attention to details from the check in, evaluation, doctor's visit, check out. Very pleased!!!

Dr Douglas has been very helpful over the past few years. He gave me hope when others gave me nothing. Over the years he has been very good at explaining what is happening with my eyes and the different procedures he was going to try to correct the problems. I have and will continue to recommend him to others.

Dr. Douglas is a great doctor. He has really tried to help me with my eye problems.

Dr Douglas is the best. He has been treating me for 7 years since I moved here for Macular Degeneration both wet and dry. He trained at Bascom Palmer in Miami with my previous doctor. He is knowledgeable and has a fantastic “bedside” manner. The office is well run and his staff is great and caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing special eye care. Very impressed with Dr Douglas, who took the time to explain the situation and planned laser treatment with good results. My husband experienced blurred vision while on vacation in Buffalo, Ny area. We drove home early so he could see “his” doctor!

Dr. Douglas takes the time to thoroughly review your issues, provides thoughtful treatment plans and explains concerns, options and follow-up. He instills confidence but without medical jargon. As some have noted you might have to wait on him a bit but the trade-off is that he will take the time needed with you as well as he did the previous patient. Very satisfied with Dr Douglas. He explains difficult eye conditions very well. I think he has my best interest whenever he is in the room.

Mark Douglas is an excellent doctor. Cares for and about his patients, always informative and fun to talk with also! Gives great feedback on eye and retina issues, appreciate that he goes into the medical background of the patient's condition.

Dr. Douglas recently performed a very intricate surgery on my right eye in 2020. It takes a fair amount of trust in a doctor to allow him to operate inside your eye. The surgery went well. At my second followup visit only two weeks after my surgery, the improvement in my vision was remarkable. When Dr. Douglas learned of the results, his first words to me were, "Praise God". I am so thankful to have a caring doctor who recognizes that God is the great physician. With a desire to make sure that my eyesight is the best it can be, Dr. Douglas continues to see me on a followup basis. At my most recent exam, both of my eyes tested at 20/20 without corrective lenses. I am grateful to have such a caring doctor. Love Dr Douglas! He's kept me from going blind from Macular Degeneration, he's very through and has an excellent mannerism! I see about 5 different Drs. for various health problems and Dr Douglas is my favorite!

Dr. Douglas is a really great doctor. He is very attentive and thorough and explained everything to me at length to make sure I could understand it all. He took the time to listen to me and answer ever question I had. I highly recommend him.

Be prepared to wait a very, very long long time in an overpacked waiting room. Apparently the patients time is not valuable even if you work. You will probably wait 2-3 hrs! Not worth it!

I had a wonderful experience. I came into the office a bit nervous I may have a retina problem. The office staff put me at ease. They were very efficient and kind! Doctor is the best, both as a surgeon and as a caring healthcare professional. I never feel rushed in his office. He takes time to look for any possible issues, explain any concerns, and address the problems if one presents itself. My wife used him for years before I had need of his specialty and I didn't hesitate to request a visit. The first time was an emergency, or could have been, and he was quick to make himself available at his home location for a stat visit. Later, he repeated this when e real problem did present.
