Dr. Mark William Chewning

Piss poor bed side manor. As a patient of the practice for 6 years I must say being fit into his schedule for the first time was a horrible mistake and this practice lost a huge asset when Dr. Keene left. Im not so sure he even knew or cared to know my name when he walked into the door. I have a pretty hefty serious history of issues that he didn’t even know about until skimming through my chart in front of me after I had to make him aware. On top of that, he made me feel like I was uneducated and talked down to me with no real care or regard. I felt like nuisance to his day and as a future nurse practitioner this is exactly how I will never make someone feel. Here’s to my first review on a doctor ever and the worst experience at this clinic that I have always recommended to family and friends. Don’t squeeze in patients into your busy schedule if you don’t actually care to see them.

I did not feel welcome, comfortable, supported respected or valued by this doctor. I will not return.

I have been seeing dr chewing for several years. He’s always informative and listens to my concerns. I wouldn’t see anyone else.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Chewning. He is arrogant and condescending. He treated me like I was an uneducated woman that couldn't think for herself. I will never go back to this practice.

I was a patient of Dr Chewning's in Lexington, VA. He was, without a doubt, one of the best OBGYN's I've ever had. He clearly explained procedures, listened to my concerns, and took the time to include my husband. I would definitely recommend Dr Chewning.

He's one of the best doctor's that I've had. He's always honest and efficent.
