Been with Dr chaplick for 16 years and he is a very caring and personable doctor. I told him he could never retire. The staff always remembers me and treats me like family

Dr Chaplick has been my mother’s pain doctor for years. She referred me to him and he didn’t disappoint. Probably the. Best bed side manner you’ll see of any doctor. He explained my medication but more so my procedure he wants to do. He explained it in DEPTH! His heart is in the right place. He trusts the patient (until they give him otherwise which does happen in this field). I’m thrilled he is my doctor and his wonderful staff. Thank you for a doctor like this in the current climate of “you just have to suffer” from the majority of doctors.

This pain Dr wanted to enforce one spot injection for my back that has 6 spots that are the problem. I refused to do more than 3 injections and he got mad. If something isn’t working you shouldn’t continue. After getting a different Dr. I learned that 2 injections are the limit and meds were injected six different spots. Finally relief. If two doesn’t work there are other alternatives than to keep trying same injection. I wouldn’t advice anyone that wants to get better to go to Chaplick

I felt valued and listened to. Everyone made me feel welcome, the doctor explored every option and took me seriously. He answered my questions and has supported me every step of the way.

Loves my doctor! He has a great personality and you can tell he loves what he does. Is very open to discussing your needs and is good at bringing it down to your level of understanding! He is always willing to address your concerns and issues with an open mind also. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Chaplick was attentive, pleasant, and outlined my treatment plan clearly. He didn’t jump right to the best option for the pain center to make $$ from my treatment, and that goes a long way with me! He cares about your well being and I would recommend him to anyone.

My first time ever seeing a pain management doctor and I was very nervous. I was referred to Dr. Chaplick because of neck and upper back pain as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The appointment started out talking to Dr. Chaplick’s nurse Liz who was empathetic and listened. Dr. Chaplick was very compassionate. He seemed to genuinely care about my concerns and the pain I am having. Dr. Chaplick made a recommendation of a treatment plan which didn’t include pain pills which I appreciated. He made me feel like I was family.

The doctor was very kind explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. Even have a sense of humor and that was a nice bonus.

Out of all the providers I see, Chaplick is my favorite. I feel listened to, understood and helped when it comes to my pain and back issues. Highly recommends

He answered all my questions, and making sure we do everything to help my pain.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out you are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I've never gone to the doctor and felt this comfortable for the entire time before. Everything was explained to me down to earth and our treatment plan is something that he is obviously going to be involved with first hand. Hard to find good doctors like this. 12/10 on my scale. Finally a Dr who listens and cares about your pain and difficulties. Treatment starts at the first appointment. Definitely recommend Dr Chaplick.

Doctor Chaplick rocks. I always look forward to seeing him. Fantastic doctor in all regards.

I have rarely been to a doctor who TRULY seems to care about my well-being and is trying to get to the source of my problems. He’s a blessing.

Dr Chaplick is a great listener and maintains good eye contact. He made me feel my case is important and he made a plan with me to provide relief to get me through the next 10 days, until scheduled Epidural.

Everything without exception is great every time I visit his office.

Other than having to wait awhile to get in to see Dr. Chaplick, everything else was good. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room, front desk and nurse were both very polite. Sadly, we couldn’t figure out a diagnosis for my pain therefore he wasn’t quite sure how to treat me. But, he clearly has concern. If you need to see a pain management Dr. he’s the one to see!! Dr. Chaplick is an excellent doctor. I had a herniated disc 28 years ago and he gave me a treatment of a series of 3 injections. I have been good for all those years. I just went back to him after being involved in a rear end accident. I know I'm going to be fine because he is the best!!! His staff is awesome!!!

Dr. Chaplick is an exceptional pain doc. Been going to him for almost ten years and he has performed nine epidural shot in my lower back over the years that have made an old injury bearable. I had a recent new injury due to an accident to my upper-mid spine. Doc was great at evaluation and immediate emergency referral to a neurosurgeon, as he had concerns any pain treatment could make things worse. Got to admire a doc that knows when to not do harm. I first started seeing Dr Chaplick around 10 years ago, before my back surgery. I returned to him recently and trust him with my care again now.

Excellent doctor who really took the time to listen to what my pain issues were. I was so happy to get a plan for helping with my lumbar pain I literally had tears in my eyes.

Dr Chaplick is very professional and got into pain management to help people!

Dr. Chaplick and his staff are great! I have been on now for 4 procedures and I always feel comfortable and very well cared for. I would recommend Him without hesitation!

I have had 4 visits to Dr. Chaplick for procedures for various back issues. He is great to work with as he listens and then advised the best way forward. We have made good progress on my pain issues. His staff is great and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend him to the people I care about.

Dr. Chaplick is sympathetic and insightful! His nurse practitioners and office staff are terrific as well! I so appreciate them all!!

I have been treated by Dr. Chaplick for about one year. He takes his time and tells you what he is going to do to help . He is very understanding and compassionate. No other doctor could do a better job treating my health issues. The clinic staff are wonderful. Dr. Chaplick is the best.

After acute pain following a steroid back injection, and speaking with the on call doctor(who said he had no way to access my records) just go to ER, Dr. Chaplick never followed up with me.

Received an epidural steroid injection on 9/25/19. Dr Chaplick explained the procedure in detail in advance of my visit. On the day of the procedure, he also explained alternatives should this injection not work. The overall office experience was very pleasant. Special kudos to Annie and Steph. Thanks all.

After a filed cervical fusion and dealing with chronic pain Dr Chaplick is helping me to get my life back. I don’t know what I would do with out him.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I’ve been going to see him, mostly Anna, for 8 years. When the new opiate guidelines started Dr Chaplick was always angry at “feds” as he called them and the verbal abuse started! He yelled, complained about politicians and didn’t pay one bit of attention how I was doing. I’ve had my BP meds increased twice, my psychiatrist added cymbalta to my antidepressants because the depression and anxiety was getting worse and he doesn’t follow the abandonment law!

Well spoken, trusting, very caring and compassionate.

I have been going to Pain Management doctors for several years now for spinal fractures, nerve pain and lumbar pain. Although the epidurals helped for short periods of time it took several injections and very little pain relief. I have had two procedures done by Dr. Chaplick. He is the best Pain Management doctor I have ever seen and ever will see. His bedside manner and procedures are beyond most doctors. I would (and just did recommend him for my husband) recommend him to anyone.

The only bad review on this page is probably from someone who didn't get the narcotics they personally believed they needed. Dr. Chaplick is a very knowledgeable and personable doctor. I would trust him to know what is best, very respected in the field of medicine. Thank you Dr. Chaplick for being the best in Kansas City!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chaplick for a number of years now. He is always kind, supportive and helpful. He always looks out for my best interest. Dr Chaplick cares how his patients feel both physically and emotionally. In my opinion, He is an answer to a hurting patients prayer.

Dr Chaplick saved me from a life filled with pain. I had lived with lower back and sacral pain for years, gaining weight as I could not exercise due to the pain only exacerbated the level of pain I was experiencing. He examined me, immediately ordered a MRI to back up what was his diagnosis (facet joint syndrome) and then explained that I was an excellent candidate for a procedure known as radio frequency nerve ablation. We went through the insurance required tests. HE"S THE BEST!!!!

I would not recommend Dr. Chaplick to anyone that I cared about. I found him to be crass, rude, did not care to listen to me as a patient, and best of all insulting.

Was very satisfied with Dr. Chaplick. First doctor to help me in almost 10 yrs. of living with severe chronic pain. Answered every question I asked, took his time making sure everything was perfect and I was comfortable and checked on me after several times. I have been given back quality of life when I wanted to give up
