My experience at my last appointment here was very disappointing. I came in for tooth extraction,when the dentist numbed me it was so painful like never before. Before he started the process I asked him which tooth he's gonna extract ( just to make sure). He was angry why I don't trust him and told me that he knows what he's doing. Anyway, he started to pull on a wrong tooth! I showed him to stop, and told him my referral is just for one tooth and not this one. He said " yeah but you also have a big cavity in this one". Walked around after extraction for 2 months with a swollen face in pain. Knew something was wrong called went in was told very little and sent home. Finally went in and told them something has to be up which honestly as the professionals they should've told me. It was then that they cut me open and drained a massive infection that should've been done weeks prior (I could have died). After procedure the doctor felt guilty which he should have and told me not to worry about the bill. Two years later i’m in collections for something i was told not to worry about. I have to say the visit to this office was the right choice by far. My son had to get 4 teeth removed. He had a pleasant experience with little to no pain or swelling. I still can't believe he had that many extractions in one shot and it's like nothing happened. The entire staff was polite and made me feel like they cared and appreciated my business. Dr. Birnbaum answered all my questions and when the procedure was completed he personally informed me that all went well. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to others. They are very prejudicial against people with Developmental Disabilities and this has nothing to do with an Individual's mental or physical ability. I made an appointment based on a referral by my dentist who felt that I needed an oral surgeon. They at first accepted the referral, asked that I fill out the paper work on line which I did. I requested to be only seen by Dr. Birnbaum because I dealt with him in my childhood. During conversation they became aware that I am diagnosed as Mild Intellectual disability. They immediately declined to see me and referred me to a state Manhattan Clinic although I live in Brooklyn. They were insensitive and treats all dibbled people as one. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility. Thank you

Absolutely the worst experience i have Ever had messed up my whole jaw and put me in so much pain for months now ! I would give this place 0 star because when i called Back they didn’t even speak to me about my problems !

I paid up front and then they sent me a bill for $150????They had no empathy for us (before and after the procedure)...it was a bad experience.I still regret taking my son to their office for that procedure. Will give them a 0 if I could.

Very efficient, experienced, and competent. No, he's not warm and fuzzy, but he's an excellent, experienced dentist whom I've used a few times. The office runs like clockwork, so it seems a bit cold and factory-like. But if you're not going there to make friends but to fix your teeth or gums, I can't recommend it enough. If you have an appointment, the wait time is minimal. If you just show up, you may wait a while.

I paid these guys up front, then they send me in the mail that I owe them almost 200$. These guys are a bunch of scammers, I recommend you not to go there, as it will save you a lot of heartache. If you still decide to go then remember to keep your receipts, if not they will ruin your credit like they did to mine. I wouldn't give them any stars, it's just that one's the only option. I just came home from dr birnbaum for wisdom teeth extractions. He was so nice. I had general anesthesia so he walked me to my waiting car to make sure im ok even if i had my mom with me. I didnt feel anything during procedure. The bleeding is minimal and with motrin i dont have pain. I had an appointment so i didnt wait too long. Highly recommend. Excellent bedside manner. My tooth extraction was quickly done and very little pain. After the extraction, I followed his instructions and had no pain or swelling. Job well done!

I had dental surgery done in 2013 and everything was explained to me perfectly. I literally think this guy is a genius. I recovered perfectly also he made you feel like family. His office was beautiful and clean also his team was just as friendly and competent like him.
