Dr. Mark N Berman

I believe the Dr. knows his stuff but could explain the path of treatment better. Some of the staff are not top drawer. They have a bad attitude toward patients. I had a long wait, over an hour. Staff should never, ever laugh at the patient. I will never go back there. I had a bad family situation where someone died and they thought it was funny: they broke out laughing. Very low-class.

Dr. Mark Berman is an exceptional ophthalmologist, who takes great care in his examination and sharing treatment plans with his patients. Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Berman’s for several years. We recommend him/Thomas Eye group with 5 stars!

Dr. Berman's knowledge and ability is outstanding. He is soft spoken and kind BUT the reason I gave him is "3" is because of the wait. I was used to waiting for over 2 hours in the past and in order to avoid it, I was told to make the first morning appointment at 7:00am. I was the first patient, at 7:00am and waited 45 minutes. After informing the nurse that I will wait for another 15 minutes and then leave the office, Dr. Berman arrived. No apology for the wait. I pointed it out to him, still no apology. Thank you to Dr. Mark Berman for getting me in so quickly after my eye ball was scratched. It was a scary situation, but he took fantastic care of me. My eye has now healed and I'm thankful for him and the lady that answered for taking my situation seriously.

I've been going to the Thomas Eye Group office in Woodstock for years and Dr. Berman is very thorough and professional. The office seems to have the latest technology and his staff is very competent and friendly. For my eyes, this is the only place that I would go.
