Absolutely a waste of time for the few minutes he was actually in the room. He didn't allow me to finish answering his questions before asking another. Did not give an opportunity to ask a single question. Definitely do not recommend him. Office manager was very helpful, however.

Dr Beard with Commonwealth Urology in Lexington, Ky was my Mother’s doctor but we will never see him again. He was rude and condescending from the moment he entered the exam room. We tried discussing some problems with my Mom’s health. He literally slouched down, held his hands in the air and shook his head. We ignored his unprofessional & childish behavior since we needed a urologist, but he continued so we are seeking out a new Urology group.

Dr beard and his staff have always taken extra care with me. They are professionals in every since of the word. I would recommend them to everyone.

This docter is extremely rude. He doesn't listen, more interested in talking over you and minimizing your concerns

I saw Dr. Beard for a kidney stone that showed up on my CT scan. My primary doctor made the appointment and Dr. Beard's office worked me in over a holiday weekend. He explained what can happen with a large kidney stone and discussed 3 options and the pros and cons of each. He was very informative and asked if I had any questions. Even though he had worked me in his schedule he spent a lot of time with me. In outpatient he checked with me prior to going to surgery. I highly recommend him.

This was my mother's Doctor when she had bladder cancer in 1999. He never followed up with a chest x-ray. We later found out from every other doctor she has seen that a chest x-ray is a common and necessary follow up. The bladder cancer travelled to her lung. This was found during a completely unrelated X-ray.
