My husband and daughter both said dr bassett was very creepy, didn't listen, set another appointment for 6 months from now without doing anything. My daughter needs a hearing test appointment they didn't do that. They said he was very unprofessional and seemed intrigued by my daughter and her personal life... he's a creep!!!

Once the doc came in he was really friendly and explained everything really well. The issue I had was I waited over an hour passed my appointment time to be seen and when the nurse brought me back she said she didn’t know I was here. Dr. Bassett asks pertinent questions that are easy to answer. He was thorough in asking and listening to my concerns. He took time to make a good examination. He offered several options for treatment, explaining them carefully so I can make an informed decision.

I definitely would recommend Dr Bassett. This was my first time seeing him for my ear problems . At the time I had also been bit on the hand by a bug that had overnight caused my hand to swell up severely. This doctor not only tended to my ears but recognized I had a serious infection in my hand he dropped everything to contact the right people that ultimately led to me being admitted to a hospital with a MRSA infection something that if left untreated could have cost me my hand or my life I was so unaware at the time how much trouble my hand was really in. Dr.Bassett and his staff are very congenial and efficient. I always have a good experience there. Dr. Bassett is very clear and concise with his explanations and I feel that he has a genuine concern for his patients.

Listens well. Explained my options thoroughly. Left final decision up to me to do surgery or a more conservative route (regarding my shoulder). He's my go-to guy now. Extremely well recommended and tough to get into though because of it. I caught a lucky cancellation.

I was very pleased with my care from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Bassett was very kind. He took the time to listen, and provided both thorough and professional advise and care. I felt like a patient and was treated very much like a person and not a number.

I visited Dr. Bassett for a follow-up to a previous appointment which was followed by an MRI referral for multiple symptoms. Dr. Bassett reviewed the results, which were normal, and has referred me on to a neurologist citing that my issue is not ENT related. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Bassett's diagnosis and look forward to the next exciting adventure that awaits!

I went in for repeated sinus issues, ear infection.

1st time seeing Dr.Bassett. Went in for my deviated septum & blocked sinuses but he also addressed another issue I was having that was very obvious & even worse than the pain I was in with my sinuses. He could tell I was in excruciating pain & prescribe 2 meds that would help with all issues. He was fantastic, honest & was also very empathetic, the definition of how a Great Doctor should Doctor. I was very impressed. Thank you, Dr. Bassett.

I was seen by Dr. Basset for a sebaceous cyst on my neck. ( common). Dr. “B” as I‘ll abbreviate, did an overall thorough examination of my EN&T b4 asking about the initial ailment. He asked for my history of the ailment and was pleased with my synopsis of it. We discussed treatment and came to a mutual decision based on both of our input. He seemed very attentive to my opinion and the research and info I had regarding the situation.

Dr. Bassett's arrival in the examination room was timely. His initial greeting was gracious, and evidenced concern. Throughout the exam and procedure Dr. Bassett showed competence and compassion in his questions to me, and in his answers to mine. In short, 5 stars is not high-enough of a rating.

Dr Bassett recently performed surgery on my nose and throat. Before deciding on surgical treatment, he was thorough in explaining the procedures and possible issues to be aware of. He was very thorough in his examination & explanation of his findings & advice. He even called me at home on Sunday to clarify an issue with me! I was very pleased with my first appointment with him!

Doctor did the same basic exam as my PCP and came up with the same 'I dunno what's wrong,' response. Instead of doing any follow ups or tests that might give more information like my PCP was expecting, I was told to just keep taking ibuprofen and lozenges and come back if my throat gets worse... I've been doing that for nearly 4 months now. Worse than that, however, was that I did not realize the doctor was NOT wearing gloves until he was literally holding my tongue in his hand. He didn't wash his hands before or after. Are you serious?! Now, in a pandemic, that's the level of care?! What the hell. This is the only ENT in Spokane County that accepts Amerigroup through the state. It's not like I can just go somewhere else. I'm so upset and frustrated, and now I am DEEPLY concerned about the possibility of COVID-19. Bare handed.... I can't believe this... He and the nurse were very nice, though, so there's that.

I was disappointed in the care I received with Dr. Bassett. I know that with our current healthcare system time is an ever-shrinking commodity in which Dr's can spend with their patients but it's getting ridiculous. I showed up on time for all my appointments, only to wait 20-30 minutes(or more) until they brought me back to the room. THEN I waited another 10-15 minutes until the Dr came in. He wouldn't do an endoscopy for my throat issue in ANY of my appintments even though I had expressed a desire for him to do so (instead using only a light & mirror). I left feeling as unsure of my condition as when I came in. Very disappointed & felt pretty much abandoned to Dr Google. Also, after waiting all the extra time to see the Dr he was rushing to get to his next patient, so he cut my already short time with him even shorter. The whole system needs a reboot.
