Marina Gilca

I have seen Dr. Gilca for several appointments, and also for eye surgery. She is excellent in her field, and excellent in her communication. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to see an eye surgeon or has eye problems. And besides all of that, she's a very nice person!!!

5 stars. She is absolutely a great surgeon. I would not think of anyone else to trust with my eyes.

Dr. Gilca is highly qualified and very understanding of patient/family concerns! She is very thorough and explains things well. Daughter, at age 15, needed emergency surgery for a retinal detachment and preventative laser surgery in both eyes. Excellent work was done in her eyes, just unfortunate events continue. Dr. Gilca has did amazing work to save her eye sight. This is a delicate specialty and appointments will take longer than others due to dialation, scans, emergencies, etc.). Grateful!

I went to Dr. Gilca recently, for the first time, after Dr. Mason retired. She seemed ok but I don't know if I will return. After two short tests performed by staff and an hour and 45 min. Wait, I finally met with her. I said I was surprised at the extra long wait and asked if there was an emergency or something to explain it. Was told that since Dr Mason's retirement there were only two Dr's to see all patients. Not my problem! Perhaps they need to hire another! Or repair their scheduling
