I had a colonoscopy almost 10 days ago. Directly after the colonoscopy I was given a diagnosis. Later when I looked at my discharge papers, I realized that the results of my colonoscopy on my discharge papers were completely different than what the doctor told me after the procedure. I have called the office seven times asking to speak to either the nurse or the doctor. I still have not received a call back. I’m sorry but follow up and bedside manner is definitely part of the job. I find this completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Dr. Freitas is extremely talented with a bedside manner at 10 Stars, I felt at home immediately forgetting that I was at a Doctors office. Oh yes, She's very upbeat, warm, and a very caring doctor.

Dr. Freitas performed a complex surgery on me with unexpected complications. Dr. Freitas was able to navigate these complications with expert skill and care. Her post operative care was exceptional. Dr. Freitas kept me informed of progress and potential issues so I felt fully aware of my current situation. I have tremendous trust in Dr. Freitas as a skilled surgeon and appreciate her patient care skills.

Do not go to this doctor. She will take money over your well-being.

Dr. Freitas may be a perfectly competent physician, but it’s impossible to know, because of her complete unwillingness to communicate with patients (or at least with this patient). She repeatedly promised to contact me with information about a highly specialized surgery for a very serious condition, and simply never did so, despite repeated requests from me, both by telephone and in person. This unprofessional conduct cost me several months’ time when I could have been looking for another specialist. Fortunately, I have since found a colorectal surgeon who actually seems to be interested in the practice of medicine.

After interviewing several Doctors here on the West coast; I traveled over 2,800 miles, from California to Stamford Connecticut to have this amazing brilliant Doctor; Dr. Marilee Freitas perform my surgery. Dr. Freitas has an outstanding bedside manner, she listens, explains everything, she is extremely funny, which helped ease my jitters. I highly recommend Dr. Freitas; she understands the needs of her patients making sure that we are taken care of. Over the top, Outstanding, Brilliant, Funny; I am honored that Dr. Freitas performed my surgery.

Highly competent. Well prepared. Very nice. I have been a patient for many years and she well deserves a 5 star rating.

Dr Freitas is the best, after i visited many doctors she found my problem and i had a surgery today 4/1/19 we need more people lake here , very professional and she knows what she doing, I give her 10 stars

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Freitas and found her to be kind and warm. Seeing a rectal specialist can be somewhat embarrassing and she made the appointments easy and smooth. I am recommending her to a friend this week.

Dr. Freitas is thorough and extremely detailed with exceptional bedside manner. Highly recommend.

I was recently admitted in the hospital and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Frietas. She is funny and such a sweet person. She definitely kept me calm in my time of pain. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr.
