Marie E. Louis

She was my PCP for over a year. Last time, I chose to visit an urgent Clinique instead of seeing her again. She is not friendly and does not show any understanding or empathy to your concerns. She is not welcoming, does not read charts before visits, rushes you out from visits, does not seem to listen to your concerns. I hate to write a bad review but she really deserves this. Stay away from here.

It’s already hard to find a physician who is a POC. Dr. Louie was extremely pleasant, attentive, and a great listener. We probably talked her ear off, if I’m honest lol. Dr. Louie didn’t rush us and was extremely helpful and understanding. We are extremely thankful to have found her. My only issue is that it shouldn’t be so complicated in finding physicians who are POC. It’s almost like they’re being hidden for some reason. It’s our personal preference and will always be. Anywho, we will rate Dr. Louie 10/10 across the board. I think some of these poor reviews are more of a reflection of the people writing them and not the level of professionalism Dr. Louie exemplifies. We need more like her!!!!!

My husband and I will be seeking another doctor.. We would not recommend. She does not go above and beyond. I thought my husband was not giving her a chance but now completely agree with him. The girls in the reception area are even colder than she is.

I Never really do Reviews but I wanted to do this review on Dr. Louis and the entire staff I am a fairly new patient Of Dr. Louis I was having some Medication issues I called the office with my concerns and a member of the staff got right back in touch with me and was very concerned about what I was experiencing I received an appointment with Dr. Louis fairly quick she was patient and thorough she takes her time and answers all your questions the staff is very polite I have been looking for this type of environment and will continue to see Dr. Louis with confidence that she will have my best interest in mind.

I have a few chronic, invisible disabilities and she did not seem to care at all about these medical issues. She did not seem to know what the medical conditions even were nor did she make an effort to learn about them or understand them. I did not feel like she understood any of my concerns and I felt like when I asked questions about my health, I was bothering her. She seemed nice on the outside but I always left the office feeling neglected. I would consider myself in not "good" health and she had no suggestions or will to help me. At my most recent visit I actually cried because of the way that she made me feel bad about my disabilities. I have had a very hard time with doctors in the past and she was yet another let down.

I usually don't post but after reading some reviews I was wondering if they went to the same office I did. I have been going to this office since 2009. And yes, it has been through about three main doctors and I never experienced a lapse in service. I believe there has been many changes since then but nothing to warrant what I had read. This office added emergency hours on specific days and hours. I have seen to both doctors Dr. Louis and Dr. Chen. Both have always listened and addressed mine and my families issues/concerns. I never felt rushed or as if my issues didn't matter. Even the physician assistance get to know you. The front office has changed over the years but they are helpful. I just recently had an issue and spoke to the nurse on the phone. Her assistance saved me from having to come into the office. Dr. Louis serves my family but my feels comfortable with Dr. Chen. They have the My Cooper Chart Portal. I use it to refill my Rx and normally by the next day someone has approved the refill. I have even used it for issues like following up on test results. This isn't the day and age where the doctor has only 10 patients and can make house visit. So you have to take an active stance in your health. There is an old saying you reap what you sow. The worst doctor. Unconcerned and uncaring. She does not follow up or complete paperwork. If your looking for a female doctor. She is not the one.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marie Louis for many years. I really like Dr. Louie. She is very personable and she listens to my concerns and health issues. She is very knowledgeable and I feel confident in her care. I would highly recommend her. She takes her time with her patients and I value that.

I visited Dr. Marie Louis today for cough and dry-skin irritation. Came on time, and was in the back within 10 minutes. The office was immaculately clean, all the staff friendly, and Dr. Marie Louis herself was surprisingly pleasant. And I said "surprisingly" because I had read negative reviews about her prior to my visit, and was expecting a grumpy and short-tempered doctor. However, to my surprise, she was sweet, caring, and completely opposite to what I'd expected. Overall, one of the kindest and sincere doctors I've visited. Don't let negative reviews deter you. They're likely people who are grumpy or didn't get what they want from her.

I relocated down to this area this past year and needed to find a primary care. I decided to use Cooper and see Dr. Louis. My first visit was for a physical. I really liked Dr. Louis and felt it was a thorough physical. During that visit I got a vaccine, which has two parts, and I was instructed to come back two months later for the 2nd vaccine. I show up two months later, wait 20 minutes in the waiting room, and am informed by a nurse or someone at the front desk that the physician made a mistake and it was actually supposed to be four months until I return. Well, I left there, furious about wasting my time. If a Doctor cannot get a vaccine schedule right, how certain can I be that they won't end up overlooking something major? In addition, it gave a very bad impression considering it was only my second visit. In addition, even after calling the office to voice my frustration, Dr. Louis did not even call me to apologize or take responsibility.

Avoid this office. Extorting money for a mandatory unneccesary office visit for maintenance medication seems to be the business model here.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Louie (and Cooper Family Medicine in general) blatantly disregard their current patients' needs. I called this morning with a routine request that in the past has been taken care of same day. They were not helpful, and would not provide the assistance that I needed. Would totally give this Woman a 0 star rating if it was possible. Dr Marie & Dr kelly which is another dr that works at their location both rushed my appointments and left me with questions and no answers , I felt like my issues to them were small & a waste of their time so they just came in, dismissed me & was on to the next patient or whatever. I’m definitely going to find a new primary doctor because I’ve never felt like this at any other dr’s appointment & for it to happen more than once is enough. Not saying that they’re bad doctors because I can’t say.. I just know that they both exhibited NO patience... & that is a bad trait for their feild . If you guys see this which I hope... you gain & keep clients by showing interest in your patients & paying attention to whatever their problems are... big or small to you.. they came because to them there’s an issue . Dr. Marie Louis is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. She has been extremely helpful and always pleasant. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I am glad that I found them. Excellent doctor and team!!!

Dr. Louis is a great primary care doctor. She listens and reassures. I've been with her for years and am happy that I got a good doc, when I chose her at random from my PPO list.

I have always found Dr Louis to be thoughtful, thorough and knowing. Never had anything but a fully professional experience with her and the staff at the office. All doctors offices have a bit of a wait, that is to be expected but never has it been out of the ordinary.

NEVER responds. Not to patients, other Drs. or pharmacy. NEVER is less than an hour wait. Run away!

I USE PARA TRANSIT AND A WALKER, I HAD BROKEN MY ANKLE AND NEEDED A FORM SIGNED FOR TRANSPORT IN A WHEELCHAIR TO THE ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON WHO I WOULD BE SEEING FOR THE FIRST TIME. SHE WOULD NOT SIGN THE FORM , SHE DEMANDED THE SURGEON SIGN IT. I TOLD HER I HAD NEVER BEEN TO HIM AND SINCE SHE WAS MY PRIMARY I NEEDED HER TO SIGN IT. FOR A WEEK WE WENT ROUND AND ROUND. Unpleasent visit, hasty tratment, Physical was completed for 2 in less than 10 minutes. On asking about prescribed tests, no details were provided. Tried to ask about pain in knee and any test/xray is needed and she refused to tell anything and asked to come again. The record entered at reception was inaccurate and its a month now and i am unable to retrieve my results. Tried multiple times to call this facility but to no avail. Music for 30 minutes and i had to drop. Will never go back here and will certainly tell friends and family to stay away. Dr Louis is the most UNCARING person I have ever encountered in the medical profession. She is a complete and utter disgrace. I would absolutely NEVER recommend her! I was told to come to the office between 1 and 5 with no appointment needed. I arrived at 4:45 and was told that Dr Louis would not see anyone after 4:40! I was turned away and denied care!!! This is totally reprehensible. Dr Louis is a disgrace to the medical profession

Dr. Louie was phenomenal! Clean office and she is very personal and friendly.

Dr Louis is the worst doctor I have ever been to. she prescribes medicine that does not help. she never follows up with you after an appointment or even after tests. Difficult to get test results from the office. Difficult to get prescription refills. Always have a long wait in the examining room, at least 30 minutes or more.

I found Dr. Louis to be fine, but if you need anything by phone you're out of luck. I've had multiple problems getting prescriptions refilled by this office. Once I had to call the office almost daily for a week to see if they had called in a refill for me, each time I was told Dr. Louis hasn't approved it yet. The last time I called I was told that SHE LEFT FOR VACATION without filling my script, which is unconscionable. I am in the same boat again right now. Will be looking for a new dr. now.

If you're looking for a family practice and may be inclined to consider Dr. Louis especially since she's one of only a small number of female doctors in Burlington County, I urge you to BEWARE. This is the WORST practice I have ever dealt with in my decades of adulthood. I had an urgent need to have my routine prescriptions filled and 4 days later after multiple URGENT phone calls to her, I've had no response. Also very difficult to get a sick appt for same or next day. What a DISGRACE!

I was very disappointed to find out that the office takes 7 to 10 day working days to fill out a form. Never heard of such a thing! Office does not seem to have the staff or the leadership to get things done in a timely manner.

This has been the WORST patient experience I have ever experienced. We cannot wait to find another PCP and will never recommend Cooper family practice of Moorestown to anyone. These doctors and staff do NOT care about the patients at all and only care about getting people in so they can charge insurance companies money. I have been flat out lied to several times by the staff at this office. They are uncaring and callous as well as untrustworthy and rude. Not a patient Care environment at all!
