My daughter has been seeing Dr. Patterson for 10 years. We have always had great experiences with the office staff, the assistants, and Dr. Patterson herself. We know when we come to the office we will be getting the best care possible, with the most knowledgeable physician in the area when it comes to strabismus (my daughter’s condition). We will be very sad when it comes time for my daughter to move on to another physician, as we know Dr. Patterson needs to see the newbie little ones coming in.

Very thorough and pleasant. She definitely wants you to feel at ease and comfortable even when she has to give you side effects that could happen

Dr. Patterson and her staff provided top-notch care for my child. They are taking great Covid-19 safety precautions. Very professional and friendly environment. Disappointed to see low reviews of other parents thinking their opinion triumphs that of an (Ivy-League) qualified medical professional.

Dr. Patterson was perfect for our daughter, who has autism and an issue with her eyes. She was patient and somehow completed a thorough eye exam. The complex surgery corrected her issue. I'm completely satisfied and have even recommended her to other families.

She seriously spent no more than five minutes examining my son's eyes. She referred us back to our previous doctor whom I had just explained I was looking for more personalized attention from. She does not see kids beyond age 12 if glasses are worn to correct their strabusmis. She sent me home with a print off with a paragraph circled regarding strabusmis to keep with his birth certificate. I can get much more information on his condition doing a Google search. There was no explation. Very poor visit. Spent no more than 10 minutes in the room with us and no more than five actually checking his vision. Did not use tools, just more of a screening. Even my twelve year old son said he felt like she didn't want to see us today. Very frustrating. We would not return

In 2011 she met with our (then 5-yr old) daughter for a pretty severe turned-out eye. While we've known doctors that were more comfortable in the exam room and consults, Dr. Patterson was professional (if not as friendly as some people demand in a doctor), patient with my long list of questions & concerns, and gave us thorough answers. Six years later our daughter's eye is still doing great thanks to Dr. Patterson. I'd go back to her again.

My child has a vision discrepancy, far sighted in only one eye. We felt Dr. Patterson did not listen well to my child or to me and our appointments were rushed. My child is a voracious reader who had spelling issues and she dismissed my child's vision as relevant to spelling (!). We have since seen a doctor who has helped my child regain depth perception and some side vision, neither of which Dr. Patterson addressed with us.
